love how this connects to the app and sends me alerts ..but I hate getting alerts. 6 years ago I almost killed my family on accident…removed sensors that was chirping and forgot to put back with new battery. They all ended up in hospital with CO poisoning. I didn’t stay- I came home and tried to figure out what was wrong…now we get early alerts when the chimney randomly does NOT vent…still no answers but this has saved us two times in the past week. Once was last night at midnight ..86 and rising..had to heat the chimney pipe to clear things out. Thanks

Remote access to readings
Had it in for about 1 week and so far so good. Had 2 natural gas leaks at a property and didn’t know until we got there. Now I can see readings anytime and I have alerts set up in case this happens again.

It was fairly easy to set up but the instructions didn’t seem to line up properly. You’re supposed to long press the button at the bottom and the screen is supposed to blink purple. It doesn’t do that and it just blinks once, you will know it is pairing while looking at the app SmartLife while pairing to see progress. Another important thing is that you can only pairing while the device is in warmup mode which is about 180 seconds if I remember correctly. The display is pretty clear and easy to read. Since it is in the basement I’ll probably be relying on the app as I mostly use the space for storage. Quality is pretty good. The app is hard to program and for some reason it has a “prayer progress” robot under the device monitor. if I needed help with prayer an carbon monoxide would but where I would go looking.

It’s a must have piece of technology for every Home and workplace.

I picked up this smart gas and carbon monoxide detector because I wanted something I could plug straight in and rely on without fuss. Once connected, it needs a couple of minutes to warm up, which was slightly unsettling the first time, but after that it settles into a steady routine.The display is really clear and easy to read from across the room, so I can check levels at a glance without opening the app. I like that it plugs directly into a socket—no batteries to keep replacing—and once it’s running, it quietly keeps an eye on CO and gas levels. The app features are useful if I’m away from home, but the device works perfectly well on its own if I only need local alerts.The alarm is loud enough to grab attention, and testing it is straightforward thanks to the button underneath. The only drawback is that it doesn’t have internal back-up power, so if the electricity goes off it has to warm up again once the power returns, and there’s no notification that it’s gone offline. It’s not a deal-breaker, but something I need to keep in mind.Overall, it feels well made, the screen is excellent, and it’s a simple way to keep an eye on possible gas or CO issues. For the price, I’m happy with how capable it is, and it’s reassuring having those readings available instantly.
