Surprised my Frenchie needed the Medium Size, but great quality!!
Just bought the Medium size for my 17 lb Frenchie. I was adopting and had to order a collar without having my dog available for measurements. I originally thought either the XS or S would fit my dog, but the S (10.5 – 13” neck size) was too tight. I was surprised that I ended up returning the S and had to buy the Medium.Seems like a quality collar, my trainer uses Fi collars with GPS on the dogs she is training. Now that I’ve used the collar for a couple of weeks I can appreciate the elegant design and very high quality and functionality of this collar. This is expensive, but a great value and great piece of mind knowing the gps would help me track down my girl if she gets lost. I would buy this again in a heartbeat & i thoroughly recommend!!

Know where your dog is anytime
Love Love Love this thing it helps us keep track of where my dogs are. I have one for each dog. We had the fi mini and the attachment system was not good enough for my rowdy dogs. So we switched to the collar and wow it’s so nice and the batteries last a few weeks between charges

Would be the best on the market if their management wasn’t running the company into the ground
First and foremost, why I bought this product instead of comparable competitors; My dog is like an octopus, even though he has 36 inch chest, somehow he can squeeze through a 5 inch hole in the fence. All of the competitors are clip ons and would instantly be left behind. This one is a slim metal casing that doesn’t get caught in the process of escape. THE WHOLE POINT is tracking after escape.What sucks about this product is I had 2 duds in a row. Waiting on the 3rd via RMA. Both just stopped working about week 2. What also sucks is their complete lack of customer support. If you call, you get put on hold for an hour then hung up on. If you’re lucky you get a followup email half the time. They respond to emails after about 2-3 days. The response you get is the same useless phone-tree call center crap we’ve all experienced from terrible companies the last couple decades.They would have a top tier product if it actually worked, and the whole company wasn’t so terribly mismanaged.One final point, their “AI” “health statistics” are about as accurate as a random number generator. I wrote down the scratches, drinks, eating, etc. And they don’t match up even remotely with what the app says.Update: app crashes immediately now and the 3rd device also doesn’t work AT ALL.

Get multiple bases for larger property/larger than 200 ft
This review is for people with larger property. We live on 5 acres and got the collar because one dog kept digging under the fence to escape (a problem we are actively fixing but want the peace of mind to know shes in the yard at least).After purchasing and using the collar, we got an email explaining the base and that you may need multiple for larger areas. This checks out because sometimes when shes at the edge of the self-made “safe zone”, it says she is actually right next to the charging base. This can be resolved by going into Lost Mode and getting a direct location although it does use more battery and takes a minute or two to work. If you are a paranoid pet parent, this may be a problem for you.However, when its working (it works as intended but I understand it isn’t designed for 5 acres, so it doesn’t fully work for us if that makes sense) it does the job well. It does an exact location match.One thing I want to mention is that you may want to set your safe zone a little smaller if your dog is an escape artist. The app will tell you when your dog is out but it will take a few minutes to do so, when they do escape. For example, we set ours a few feet from our fencing because we know if shes near it, shes most likely plotting how to get out, and I want to be notified beforehand that she is even thinking about it.The other things like tracking drinking, barking, etc seem decently accurate but because that wasnt a concern nor reason I bought this collar, I truly do not have a proper review for it. But as I said I do believe its fairly accurate. Again, we live on 5 acres and its suggested to get multiple bases because its large property so some activities she does are not logged.Overall I am very happy with this purchase. The battery lasts a long time. It will drain faster with lost dog mode but otherwise it is sturdy. I do think it lived up to its promises and I would purchase it again for my second dog if he needed it.

Comfortable for my dog
Strong collar, good battery life, lots of interesting metrics on app. We have 2 houses and the app gets confused where my dog is sometimes, showing he travelled 950 miles in 1 minute and is suddenly in our other house. I understand that I have to set up unique SSID’s. Quality seems good so far and I am quietly optimistic with this product…

This collar works great and can be trusted!!
I was skeptical due to the monthly subscription cost and initial price. Ordered collar and 6 month subscription to try out. The peace of mind you have from this collar is worth the monthly subscription. App is easy and fun to use. Follow other Fi dogs in the area or similar breeds on the Fi app. It has become a game to ensure she stays on streak and gets her steps. The additional information like sleep habits is very helpful.Found a central location for the base that has no issues with range or coverage on my 2 acres.Option to share the app with others and send out a “lost dog posse” is great!Bit of a wait when “lost dog” mode is activated. Most often located before the GPS comes online. However, GPS is spot on when it does.For every day the apps’ location shown is close to within 20 feet. My pup sleeps hard and does not wake when always when I call …. check the app and it says she is right here, have learned I can trust the app and avoid any panic.
