Great Little Camera Remote for Phine
This is a great little camera remote for your phone at a reasonable price, also included an extra battery. Simple to use and setup. I watched the video on the website first which you access from scanning the QR code on the box or you can type in the website. I was up and running in less than 1.minute. I did find the video was incorrect at least regarding the new Samsung S23 which you can easily switch from photo to video recording just as with the iPhone discussed in the video. Works exactly the same, so no reason to download the suggested extra app. Remote also can be used to access phone sound and keyboard which is cool but I’m unlikely to use those.features.

It was very easy to set up and works to take snapshots or start and stop videos on my Android phone. There are no printed instructions, but there’s a helpful video on the vendor’s website. I haven’t had a chance to check it’s range. I knocked it down one star on versatility because it can only pair with one phone at a time. A battery is already installed, and a spare is included.

Works exactly as stated –set your phone camera to take photo with volume up key, pair the Bluetooth {easy!), and snap away remotely. In video mode, click to start, and again to stop. Comes with goodies: lanyard, carbineer clip, and extra battery. It beats the heck out of the other remotes that come with some of the cheap tripods where you have to download a really sketchy camera app just to be able to use it… Great product!

Works as advertised. Months after I bought it and used it for the first time, it was dead and a replacement battery I got out of my refrigerator was also not fully charged. I thought the unit was dead. I got the spare battery (cr2016, 3V.) that came with the unit out of the box put it in, and as I was doing that, I accessed the instructions online. It’s all good now. If you’re going to use the device infrequently, I recommend putting the link to the manufacturer’s instructions on your phone’s desktop so you always have them to refer to. I’m happy with this device and I recommend it to other Android phone users.
