Recommended: very cost effective and effective solution
My house came with multiple wired Waterbug detectors but none for the air handlers in the attic. DOH! Clearly not a situation I could allow to persist. These little monitors are a fraction of a fraction of the cost of extending the Waterbug system from the basement to the attic. They are cheap as chips; really easy to set up; and they work.We had a live test just last week. My HVAC engineer was bleeding air out of the system following a service. A small amount of fluid leaked into the tray under the air handler. My phone immediately started pinging, as did our kitchen iPad which uses the same Govee App.That last feature seals it for me. The alarm will register on whatever devices you have the Govee App installed upon and logged in, so you can be out of the house and you will get a loud notification on your phone, AND whoever is in the house will also get a notification on your home device. Of course, that feature does depend upon Govee continuing their monitoring service, but they have been around for a while. The units are supposed to have a battery life of five years. We will see, I have a diary note to test the system every six months.I am really pleased. This is a good quality, very cost effective solution to our situation.

Great product and support
Works great! My only disappointment is that the temps ensure will not send a text to my phone. I will however get a low temp warning on the app, as well as an email. That’s ok, but I w I understand prefer a text. Easy to set up, and support is quick and easy.

Dual water sensors, great range, easy setup
Great Cyber Monday deal for the 5 sensor array! App works great, was easy to connect to my WiFi network and add the 5 sensors. The water sensor reception range is remarkable, especially since they are on the floor and have large metal equipment in the signal path (washing machine, hotwater tank and a generator next to it). And the dual sensors on each sensor is really cool, so if say a toilet valve starts to drip it will detect that on the topside sensor if sensor is placed under the valve, while flooding water will trigger the bottom sensor. Got the kit just in time for an insurance inspection. My old “not so safe/easy to defeat” SimpliSafe security system had water sensors, caught a leak under kitchen sink from in-sink erator that rusted out. But no longer use it, so this Govee system is great for peace of mind.

Easy setup, good brand, alarm sounds when wet!
Off to a good start! The notifications aren’t perfect but we’re working on optimizing – for now, the alarm is loud and we have emails turned on. I tested all 3 in the kit with just a small amount of water and all 3 went off as they should. Gateway is on our ground floor and we have sensors on that floor and in the basement and they all show a strong signal. I’m hopeful this was a good buy! We’ve used the brand for lights in the house before so love that we could use that same app, and there’s some Alexa comparability.

Very easy setup
Setup was really easy. The system connected to my internet network seamlessly. Setting up the sensors was really easy too. No issues at all. The alarm on the sensors is extremely loud and works with a minimal amount of water touching it. Setting up the messages to your phone was very easy too. Very pleased with this system. Would recommend.

Just what I had been looking for.
They work very well, a bit fiddly to hook up with phone. They have been tested in the real world alteady. Only a minor leak thank goodness from the dish washer.

Peace of mind
I haven’t had a leak so I can’t comment on detection ability. However, the item is very easy to set up, the app is very user friendly. I have other Govee items and am very happy with their quality, so I expect the same from this unit. Gives me great peace of mind to be notified of a leak, especially if I am not at home.

J’ai installé tout récemment ces détecteurs de fuite d’eau. Très intéressant qu’ils soient IP67, qu’ils soient WiFi et qu’ils puissent détecter une fuite d’eau par dessus et en dessous des détecteurs. J’ai fait un test et tout a bien fonctionné. Intéressant aussi que la pile soit garantie 5 ans et que l’application permette de voir son énergie résiduelle. Je ne sais pas encore s’il est possible de changer la pile, ce qui permettrait de justifier pleinement le coût du produit. Je recommande ce produit.

Seems to be an excellent device. It was extremely easy to set up and I tested it by poring water near one of the sensors and immediately received an email telling me of the “spill”.There are a couple of things that would make it even better:1. The devices that detect water spills are identical. You give them names in the app (e.g., “kitchen”, “bathroom”), but it would be nice to have a place on each device to record its name.2. The online manual is very poorly presented: the contents seem to be fine, but the pages are almost unreadable.

Worked great for my purpose, waiting for the set of 6 pods to go on sale. They setup on your wifi and the pods with Bluetooth, was away from the house and monitor through the app. Great peace of mind. Would recommend.
