Works Well. Can Overheat.
We are using two of these in our facility. Our ISP speed is slightly under a one gig speed so these fit the bill.These are providing POE to all of our Unifi APs, POE security cameras and their hard drive, Macs, and the NAS. All working as you would expect.Had one overheat in the server room but it blinked back to like once it cooled. A fan running in the room has sold any overheating issues.

Nice Switch
This switch works well. No complaints so far. It runs 22 POE Ip Cameras. It’s supposed to have a 400w POE so I know I have plenty of room to grow. It doesn’t seem to be generating a lot of heat and the cooling fans are not overly noisy. I have mine mounted in a 12u metal enclosure. I’m quite happy with it thus far.

Low Cost Security Camera Ethernet Switch
I used the Yuanley switch to add more POE IP cameras to my home’s security camera NVR (network video recorder). Installation was fast and easy. I like that it directly connects to mains AC using a power cord instead of a power brick wall wart.I used the included L-Bracket mounts for an under shelf installation. See Photo.Overall the switch is a good value. But I have two minor complaints:1. The status LED’s do not indicate if the port connections are 100Mbps or 1000Mbps. I prefer to know this useful detail, especially when troubleshooting. They could have used bi-color activity LEDs for this.2. The two L-bracket mounting ears are made of very thin gauge metal and have huge “wall” mounting holes. I created some 3D printed adapters to accommodate a more practical sized screw. I also had to file the slots that attach the brackets to the case (original slot holes do not line up).Pros: Low cost. Quiet (fanless). Metal construction. Mains powered (no wall wart).Cons: Nothing major. See the text for a couple minor complaints.

I have had his PoE switch for a few weeks now and everything seems to be working just fine. No issue at all with all my PoE cams.The build quality of the switch is not bad at all. All metal based cases and it does not need an external power supply. The package comes with wall metal mounting brackets. However, it also has 2 holes at the bottom of the switch for wall mounting as well if you like to go that route. And the mount brackets are just enough to mount the switch on the wall. Not long enough for mounting the switch to a standard 19 inches rack.Nothing needs to be set up for the switch, it is pretty much plug in and go. So for the price, I think this Gigabit PoE switch is pretty good. It does everything I need.

Inconsistent power delivery
I’ve had this in my church to handle remote ptz cameras. The cameras are not security cameras but ones to live stream the services. The problem I had was that my two cameras would reboot all the time. When I say all the time, I mean 6 to 8 times during an hour and a half service. I had two of these PoE repeaters, an 8 port and a 4 port. Both did the same. I’m now using a TPlink 8 port with no problems. I move the voip phones to these and they are working fine.

This is great if you router only has one or two rj45 outlets. It’s simply plug and play giving lots of outlets for your devices. At the moment it works very well, is quiet and manages four plugged in devices , hopefully the security cameras can be added and managed just as easily. It was very good value for money compared to other well known branded ones and performs just as well
