Ok, I think I’m the first purchaser of this camera according to the support email. I didn’t read the install directions and thus I had trouble assigning the camera an IP address for my Annke DVR analog camera system. After getting the downloaded file to configure the camera, all went good then. Don’t try it without reading the instructions.I connected it to a POW switch and setup the IP address in my DVR. My Annke DVR is a analog but it can also display 4 IP cameras.Then I tied it to the back of one of my dining room chairs and checked out the functions. The camera worked nice and I think I can get to really like this camera.Now I went outside and mounted it to a tree in my back yard. I plan on using the camera for looking at birds, deer and other wild life in the words behind my house.Here is how I hooked it up. I had a 120 volt outlet below the tree to supply power to the power supply that came with the camera. Then I ran a cat5e wire to my shed. Then I had a WiFi extended that I plugged the camera into. Since I powered the camera with the supplied power supply, I didn’t need a POE switch. So now I have a wireless PTZ camera that I can use with the cell phone app or through my Annke DVR camera system. Did it work ok, you might ask. Yes it worked perfectly and it was real cool as I get use to controlling it. The auto focus worked real nice if you don’t go too fast. I used the wheel on my scroll mouse to zoom up to 18x using the motorized adjustable lens in the camera. Then I switched to digital zoom to go up to 30x zoom.The picture was real clear coming through the WiFi interface. It would be even better if it was connected directly to my DVR with a wire. Sometimes I needed to adjust the focus a tiny bit to get the best picture. I hurry a bit with the attached video that I uploaded. So, the picture would have been better if I had someone holding my iPhone when I recorded the video. Any how to can get an idea of how smooth the camera worked. I didn’t record the pan or tilt function thou. It worked good too.Yes it is a nice powerful camera if you have need for a PTZ camera. Price is very reasonable I think. Don’t be afraid to buy this one if you are familiar with setting up IP addresses or if you know someone that can help you. Otherwise it easy to control one you get the hang of it.If you have a NVR system or a DVR system, I would tend to think it would work with it. Unless you have system that only using special cameras that they make for your camera system. The IP address is the big thing. After all if you have any problems, return it back to Amazon. But if you get it working, I think you will love it too.Hope this review helps you along with the not to good recorded video that I uploaded. I’m not professional at that. Also maybe I can get a discount on my second PTZ camera that I might purchase in the near future, since I did a nice review to help out. Enjoy!!

Excellent Camera
This camera exceeded my expectations for performance and quality. The optics behind the zoom is better than any other security camera I have used. The motion is stable which lets precise locating when in very high zooms. I can view things 200 feet away on my property with full clarity and recall the precise location from a preset.The IR Night vision in these is amazing. I have IR floodlights I have used for other cameras, and this one with just it’s internal LEDs exceeds them. Even running them with a small POE hub for power, they run full brightness and have had no issues powering the camera.I had an issue with one of the two of these I bought. The seller responded to my email the same day (accounting for the time difference, it was very quick) and was able to help me resolve my issue quickly and get the camera functioning as well as the first one quickly. I was very impressed.Considering the quality of this camera, the pricing is actually very reasonable.

I really wanted to love this PTZ camera. I had no issues setting it up and connected to my network. It was hooked up to my Synology NAS, which I was able to get it configured. It just kept losing the configuration. It would work better when the quality was set to CBR (Constant Bit rate), instead of Variable. Even when it was set to CBR, it would still fluctuate (It’s hooked up to a gig network). Once I reboot the camera, it would lose the video settings. Left side of the image was blurry.I contacted their support and went through their hoops. For the price, it should be rock solid! This was to replace an old TrendNet camera (Over 7 years old). Looks like I need to stick with the ‘tried and true’ manufacturer.

Super durable camera. Finally a PTZ with AI !
I have tried countless amount of PTZ cameras from just about every brand. Some small, others large. Some onvif, others not.For this camera I needed an ONVIF compliant along with a Hikvision protocol accepting camera. This one fit the bill considering the price and the 18x optical zoom. I was looking for one that wasn’t tiny and hidden. I wanted bad guys to know it was there watching their every move.Plug and play with Hikvision nvr. No setup needed and even the POE from the NVR was enough to power it. Some others I used in the past required and Injector to get enough power. This one works perfect without more than the NVR power. :). Time and money saver.The GUI had easy setup and simple to understand. We don’t use the app suggested as we have it on the Old Hikvision nvr and use that for viewing.Comes with everything you need to set it up. Plus the mount gives you plenty of room to shove the waterproof piece and cable inside of. Easy to work with.And the best part for last. Auto / vehicle detection. I can’t stand cameras that just go off motion and cause ever lead and shadow to create a notification or event. This thing has yet to give us any false reads other than one rabbit but it was zoomed it a lot.I’ll add updates if anything changes. Let’s see how it holds up in winter but from the feeling and quality, im guessing it will be great.Also, used Cat5e and no issues of over 100 feet of cable. Pure copper, not CCA.

I was really impressed… at first. Great clear picture, night vision was surprisingly good. But, after about 2 weeks the night vision became fuzzy. Sometimes it is so bad you can’t see anything. I’m going to have to look into returning it. I hope they honor their warranty.
