Great Splitter.
I originally bought the 4 port version from the same brand and within time grew my home network which needed more ports and I needed something faster as now I added servers to my setup and needed fast transfer rates. Now I have the 8 port 2.5G and it’s awesome, it’s smaller than the 4 port which I don’t understand but it has the same great quality, haven’t had any network issues and everything has worked flawlessly just as it did on the last version. Overall it’s a great splitter and I like the company so far.

Two small fans are fairly loud. They pull air out, so mount vertical with fans on top for best results. With ports on the right, you can easily see the port lights. Ports to the left, not so much. Good unit so far.

6 months in the cooling fans went to a loud cavitation irritation. It was installed in a pristine network rack. It still works – so I can’t claim warranty exactly. Yet the humming and grinding of cooling fan bearings is ever so soothing…UPDATE: Seller reached out and made things right. High marks! I’m good to go.

Unreliable, unplug and replug to get it working
I bought this device at the end of 2024 and it has been a very unreliable. I don’t review things usually, but I wanted to warn people of potential issues. I know the device has good reviews but this is my experience. The speed is great when it works. It’s a decent price but the reliability isn’t great. I would say that more than half the time I need to unplug the power for it to register any internet connection. I’m using a pc, ps5, Xbox and switch 2.
