Best System I have found yet
I have not found one of these types of DVR systems that is perfect. Plus they are limited to the picture quality due to the type of cable you use. I had already run 16 cameras worth of cable and was not going to try and re-do everything to Cat 6, so I decided to try and find the best set up. I initially bought the Night Owl system. But what a nightmare getting it to connect to my phone and or the PC. So tweaky and constant issues. Tech support was great, but had to call too often. After a number of years I said this is a joke, I need to try something else. I switched to the Zosi system and found that it was great. Easier to use and easier to set up. BUT, after a few years the system started having issues. Constant dropping, harder to connect, harder to keep connected and picture quality was pretty bad. SO, I decided to give one more system a shot. I just picked the Annke system off of some reviews. I have only had it for about 1 month, but in that time I am very impressed. It will load live views of all of my cameras at one time. It was a dream to install and so so so much better than the previous two systems….by a mile. Picture quality is what it is, but I am very happy with this system….the only reason why I went out of my way to write this review. If your set up is like mine and have battled other systems, you will love this one.

Excellent option to OEM.
Had 3 night owl dvds crap out in months. Software wasn’t too great either. This aanke was easy to set up. No camera issues. iPhone synched up easy. Great software. Better price.Glad I tried this brand. I’ll try their cameras next.

Waste of money!!!!
So our DVR for our security cameras crapped out. The cameras were fine, just needed a new DVR. We bought this as a replacement. It worked great for about 3 weeks then suddenly only 4 of our 9 cameras had a picture. One camera is showing an image, but it’s all weird colors. We contacted customer service. They said we’d be sent an email with a number to call for support. The number was for the What’s App, but it was coming from China & we had to pay international calling charges if we called. So we are completely screwed & out $200 for this piece of junk. Do not buy!!!!

I was looking forward to trying out this DVR, however, the BNC connectors on this unit are too close together, and more importantly, poor quality and it’s virtually impossible to connect BNC cables to the inputs. I gave up after 10 minutes of cutting my fingers to shreds.Returned.
