I dont like or dislike, just having issues with making email alert work. Not putting it on the DVR, could be operator error, following instruction but still no alerts.

The 4K is gook.
I have two systems from Annke. The 4K system is great. The only issues I have are that you can’t see any of the IP cameras on the app. The PTZ preset functions (pattern, patrol, presets) don’t seem to work. I can control the camera from the DVR but that’s it.

I wanted to upgrade and access the images on my iPhone from a POE security system installed in 2012 with Acegear cameras and a Samsung DVR. I contacted Annkee support and asked what was possible. I received excellent service and a very practical solution: simply replacing the Samsung DVR with an Ankee DVR and using the Ankee Vision imaging app. I purchased the Ankee 4K DVR, replaced the DVRs, and configured the new one. It was very simple. I turned it on, and all the cameras were on my monitor. I downloaded the Ankee Vision app, configured it, and now I have the images from all the cameras on my iPhone, on the monitor, and on the big TV in the living room. This upgrade to my POE security system was very affordable, and I am very satisfied with the result. Many thanks to the support team, Kyle, and the User Experience Team, Maggie, and Bella.

Buy without the hard disk
ANNKE is my go to brand of DVRs, but they put with the wrong possible hard disks. The app quality, features, functions and video quality are all great. Very easy to set up.I recommend buying only the DVR by itself, without the hard disk. The hard disk only last 3-4 months, when called warranty(both annke and disk manufacturer), they give you a runaround, then after months of back and forth, send you another one of the cheap hard disk that don’t even work to begin with.

Good DVR
The dvr works really well I definitely like it compared to other brands. However, the app isn’t as reliable as I would like and it’s hard to figure out how to connect the camera system to my device as well as a lan computer not on the same WiFi. Other than that, it’s great and definitely good for the price.
