COLOR CHANGING LIGHT: The fixture has multicolor RGBW design and Smart APP control. Choose among Red, Green, Blue, White (3500K-5000K) or any other color shade out of 16.7 million colors in total. Select lighting patterns or set up a schedule, to try and play with the full variety of good looking effects for your space.
Wi-Fi SMART APP CONTROL: Smoothly Dimmable and CCT tunable with ASD SMART App on your smartphone (Wi-Fi Internet connection is required). Perfection in an upgrade retrofit kit
When my brother in law contacted me about updating some ancient fluorescent fixtures in his home, I thought I could just direct wire the old fixtures, remove the ballasts, and install some Type A led tubes. Nope. The wiring was so old that it could not be direct wired. So I researched Amazon for a retrofit kit. After poring over several different kits I decide to go with the ASD kits. It was the right choice.PROS: Metal and polycarbonate construction for strength, durability, and heat dissipation; small size of the driver (7.25 by 1.25 by 0.625 inches); larger number of leds per strip; magnets run the full length and width of the driver and the strips (very powerful); tinned black and white wires for connecting to the electrical input from the house (better strength to join with the solid wires coming form the house and better conductivity).CONS: None! This is a high quality retrofit kit at a very good price.Installation was very easy and the product worked as advertised. Nice bright even light compared to the old fading fluorescent tubes. There is a generous warranty of 5 years but considering how long leds last and given that these lights will be used only a couple of hours day at most, this upgrade will outlive most homeowners.I do not anticipate any problems following the installation. I feel very good about replacing the old wired set-up since I felt there was a possible fire hazard and one set of the input wires was merely taped together – I don’t think that is Code.For anyone who is looking to upgrade some older troffers in their home, this retrofit kit is an excellent choice and will likely give very long reliable service.

Purchased for our event rooms to add a little color
Fixtures worked great, after sales service was awesome, we had a a fixture that was out and covered under their warranty. (out of 24 of these was not bad) Quality seems great and build seems solid. We installed almost 8 months ago.

Light Panels
We just love the light panels. They were easy to install as we had the old style already in the dropped ceiling. The panels interface with Alexa very nicely. Color change is easy with voice command as is dimming easy. We had a problem with the shipping but that was handled OK and the customer service people were easy to work with and they made everything good. They do need to improve their shipping boxes though.

Great product – poor packaging for shipping
The LED panels provide a nice, warm light at 3500K for our basement and are a great replacement for our fluorescent lights. The install was simple enough for us to eventually learn to do it ourselves as well. I would highly recommend them.However, the packaging is terrible for shipping. We ordered four (two boxes) initially and both boxes were damaged in shipping. Three of the four panels were bent where the damage from the shipping box was and had dark spots in them once we turned them on. We hired someone to install them for us, so this was an frustrating expense. We returned two of them (the third you can’t see unless you look for it), and ordered replacement ones. When the replacement ones arrived, we again had damage on the box, but not as bad as before, so we hoped for the best. We managed to install the panels ourselves this time. The first panel was fine, but the second panel has two “stars” in it the same spots as the damage on the box was. Very frustrating. We’re keeping the panel as we’re tired of the hassle of the return process and installation.

Find a better option
First set were broken when opened. Set return with a replacement but when the replacement arrived there was only 1 light in the box.

Bright RGBW panel with great colors!!!
We Really like this 2×2 panel. The RGBW colors are bright and smooth, and the light spreads evenly. Fits well in the ceiling and was easy to install. Works great for office or studio use.

Easy to set up
These are pretty cool because they have the application you can install on your phone and easily adjust them to different colors or multiple options. I love having options and not just the basic same thing. These lights provide that even though they’re not super bright, they get the job done as you can see.

Beautiful even, dimmable light. Great value.
Really nice light quality. Dimming is excellent. Get lots of compliments. Add the Leviton dimmer switch (with bluetooth app) here on Amazon and you can schedule when the lights come on, the brightness, etc. Love these Edge lit. I tried the Direct lit version first and did not like the rows of intense spot led. And these Edge lit have a very slick and easy to wire up junction box mounted to the backside.

Bought these for my home gym. Had two pot lights which made it feel like you were working out in a dungeon. These lights make it much better and brighter and you feel more awake!

I didn’t know that these existed and these particular ones are the least expensive that I can find anywhere! The down side is that I had to buy a separate power supply. I didn’t realize this when purchasing these, but not a huge negative. I have so many ideas for these and non of them involve putting them in the ceiling. lolI put one in my stained glass work bench to be able to view and cut glass from a pattern. It’s very useful. I did have to but a piece of 6mm glass to put over top to make it durable….but what a cool setup I have now. I put the other one on the wall to view glass….like the hospital has for x-rays. I think I might make a back lit stained glass shadowbox wall hanging. I might need a dimmer than you can attach to it.
