Great product and great customer service
This product runs great. In operation, the fan is silent and hardly noticeable. Plugged in my fast charger plug to it and does the job no issues and gives me fast charging 2.0. Great for use in my car as I can place inside my cup holder.Had an issue with this product after the return timeline and BESTEK’s customer service had been very professional and worked with me to get the product fixed. Highly recommend for anyone looking to buy.

Great product for a person on the go!
I work out of my car a lot and this power inverter is PERFECT for charging my laptop and iPhone. It’s very durable, does not get hot to the touch, and is so easy to throw in my laptop bag to travel with. If you are someone on the move, who uses their vehicle as an office, this is the perfect item to keep you charged up and productive!

Small yet impressive
Power inverter very reasonably priced. Delivered on time and packaged well.I used this inverter along with a DIY backup battery system To aid in supplying backup power to my fiber optic Internet modem and Wi-Fi router anytime we lose grid power. After monitoring and experimenting with my little DIY power backup system, I am happy to say that the system appears to work flawlessly. I probably could have gone with a smaller wattage inverter but I wanted something that I could use elsewhere in case my idea did not work properly. Besides, the cost of this 300 watt inverter was extremely reasonable. The inverter is working great and I am expecting to use it for years to come. I highly recommend this little inverter to anyone who wishes to both experiment and rely upon a useful piece of equipment.

Good but needs a clamp option at this wattage
Good product, I have several of Bestek’s pure sine inverters and have been very happy with them, so buying this was a no brainer. Right now I’m using it to maintain a car battery from another battery (I know, long irrelevant story) and it works well. The fan is pretty quiet and I had to check to make sure it was actually working in a semi-noisy environment.One gripe I have about this is it doesn’t come with a clamp option which doesn’t make much sense for an inverter of this size. If you’re using this in a car you might not be able to push it much beyond 150w current draw because many cars have a 15A or 20A fuse for that. 155w at 12v is ~13A, 215w is ~18A. And I don’t think it’s a great idea to push those fuses to their rated capacity, especially since you’ll have to account for a small amount of overhead in the inverter itself. Using it with a clamp to 12v socket adaptor, everything gets hotter than I’m comfortable with when pushing it closer to 180w and it was shutting off around 240w. I cut the plug off and put some clamps on, works perfectly. But this is strange to me because I feel like many people wouldn’t think twice about it.

Works for my needs
I have not maxed it out to the 300W, but does what I needed it to do….power for a laptop….power for some christmas type lights for a car decoration. No complaints.

Useful and reliable
I’ve had this inverter for over 9 years now, taken it on multiple cross country trips, including ones that have involved car camping where this was our only source of 110 AC power for days at a time. I originally bought it after such a trip where we found the 1 amp USB slots that were factory-installed in our SUV didn’t put out enough juice to recharge my wife’s iPad while she used it, or even get it to a full charge in a reasonable amount of time when she wasn’t using it. Since then this inverter has powered laptops, portable DVD players, iPads, and phones, often all at the same time, while providing steady power and not overheating, thanks to its built-in fan.I think the few people who have had problems with this are either trying to use it with devices that draw too many amps, and/or their car’s electrical system is limited and not designed for such an inverter (see further explanation below. So my advice is:1. Stick to the devices it (and your car’s electrical system) were designed to provide power for, and avoid amp-hungry appliances like power tools and coffee makers I’ve seen mentioned in the low reviews (SMH).2. Check the specifications of your car’s electrical system and its output from its cigarette lighter outlets before you buy this inverter, and before you jump to blaming this inverter when things go wrong.Car cigarette lighters are practically never designed to be on a circuit all by themselves, and depending on the car model the cigarette lighter could be on the same circuit only with low-draw components like dashboard lights and overhead interior lights (many of which would not necessarily even draw current at the same time that often), or it could be on the same circuit as a high-draw component like, say, your car’s air conditioning system. That is going to make a big difference as to how much additional load that circuit your cigarette lighter is able to handle, and thus will affect what you can plug into the inverter.I personally have used this in a 2011 Toyota Venza, 2011 Chevy Malibu, 2017 Mazda 6, and a rental in 2016 that was either a Chevy Tahoe or GMC Yukon, and again, never had any issues in any of these cars, but other vehicles (including newer generations of these same models) may have the issues I mentioned above.

Living in the middle of nowhere, I use battery powered lights from DeWalt for the time being, use this to plug in the charger during my drives to town. Worked flawlessly for weeks, but now it eats fuses. I swap a new one, charge starts up, but I suspect the adapter took a knock somewhere along the way jarring something loose which I may have to insulate/re solder, there’s obviously a short in the unit somewhere now. Glad Amazon carries 10amp mini fuses by 60 for less than 4 out of Canadian tire. Good unit, useful and does the intended job, but treat it gently.*UPDATE*I was wrong,this unit works flawlessly,I now believe the issue was caused by a DeWalt battery charger. I am not an electrical engineer, but suspect that at times the battery in charger sends juice back to the outlet which sends that back to the car system and blows fuses. Not certain, but makes the most sense to a layman like myself. Running a 120w charger for my necessities has no issues with fuses at all. I would think this unit would have some protection for such behavior,but then again, I would rather pop the hood to swap a fuse than disassemble this unit. This unit does exactly what is promised, and I do apologize for any confusion I may have caused. Sturdy unit, would buy again.
