This HDMI Arc Adapter works Great. If your New TV does not have Audio Out, you need this. But your New TV must Have HDMI ARC. This Adapter takes the sound out of the TV HDMI ARC and changes it to RCA, which you can then send to your Stereo.

Works good on lots of programming
Works well with my RF headphones while watching direct tv programming and over the air tv on my new Samsung tv. But, for some reason, it does not work when watching any streaming TV. ie: prime video, netflix, paramount plus, peacock

Not working with Samsung 43DU7200
Not sure how to contact tech support. This device will not decode audio from the eARC port on a Samsung 43DU7200 TV. I have repeatedly checked TV config to make sure it agrees with recommendations. No audio from this device. ARC switch is set to ON. TV all seems OK, including PCM.

Works as an audio output connection to our Samsung TV
This device works as an HDMI-ARC audio interface from our Samsung TV to a set of wireless headphones. It does not come with cables (optical, RCA, etc) to attach it to the external sound device which would have been nice. I had previously purchased a similar device from another manufacturer that did not work, though it indicated that it should, but it did come with all three normal cables.

This is the second or third item I’ve purchased trying to get my new TV to play through my old receiver. This one did not work. I tried EVERYTHING so I’m all honesty I’m not sure what’s going on. I’m giving it 3 stars because it’s a quality device. It just doesn’t work for me.

Works but Audio weak
UPDATE – I now tried the unit with a 2024 Samsung TV (as opposed to a 2013 Samsung TV) . MUCH better audio volume – easily adjusted with the headset volume – enough volume that if the headset is turned to max volume, it’s too loud. Revising to 5 stars.The audio coming into our headphones is weaker than when they’re attached directly to the TV. Not a biggy but would be good to have a volume control.

Adequate, kinda.
It will run sound from a Vizeo TV HDMI ARC through my old school stereo via a mini plug, but is finicky and not consistently reliable. Once working it’s ok, but plugging, unplugging, turning off/on is required. It won’t stay connected if tv is turned off overnight. Helps if you select the switch on the adaptor to off when shutting down the tv. Not a hassle free plug and play. Also seems to require a tv unplug/reset at times.

Je l’ai acheté pour connecté un casque filaire a une tv sans prise casque et ça fonctionne parfaitement, une fois connecté a la tv vous aurez le son de toute vaut source (TNT, Ps5, xbox, Nintendo Switch etc…) dans votre casque, le bouton du réglage du son sert aussi de bonton on/off en plus de monter et descendre le son donc pas besoin de le débranché du secteur quand ont l’utilise pas, le câble optique fournie avec fonctionne parfaitement, le niveau du son et assez fort dans le casque, perso pour l’alimenter je l’ai connecté en usb via la tv et ça marche impeccable. Je recommande fortement se produit surtout celui avec le bouton de réglage du son car si vous prenez la version sans le bouton de réglage du son vous aurez le son a fond dans le casque et vous pourrez ni baisser ni augmenter le son du casque.

La calidad es bastante buena por el precio ya que lleva una carcasa de metal en vez de una de plástico, viene un cable TOSLINK-S/PDIF incluido, al principio parecía que no entraba pero eso es porque tiene una funda en el conector la cual hay que quitar, hay un poco de ruido pero al poner audio (música series o películas) funciona genial y suena perfectamente en mi Technics EH760 totalmente recomendado para poder usar unos altavoces de calidad en tu PC sin gastar un dineral en un equipo nuevo

Suite à l’achat de ma nouvelle télé, je ne parvenais pas à faire fonctionner mon vieux homme cinema.Via l’HDMI-ARC, je parvenais à contrôler le Home Cinema avec la télécommande de la TV, mais aucun son ne sortais.Avec cet extracteur, j’ai pu relier le Home Cinema via un câble optique. Le son est excellent. J’ai branché l’alimentation de l’extracteur sur le port USB de la TV, ainsi il s’allume et s’éteint avec elle !Par contre, je ne peux plus contrôler le Home Cinema avec la télécommande de la TV, je me retrouve donc avec 2 télécommandes. C’est un moindre mal, mais ce n’est pas parfait.Cet extracteur m’aura finalement permis d’éviter l’achat d’un Home Cinema plus récent
