Good hearing aid with room for minor improvement
Works as a hearing aid beautifully. Personally I would prefer If the on/off switch is separated from the volume control, so there is no need to set the volume every time.

Finally one that works!
We took these to my 86-year-old mother-in-law and when we put the headphones on and my husband spoke, her eyes got wide and she smiled from ear to ear! We were almost in tears. This was the first time in 2 years she’d heard her son’s voice at a normal level. We’ve had to get close and practically scream to be heard. An affordable miracle for which we are so grateful.

My dad is extremely hard of hearing. Nearly deaf and both ears. This worked right off the bat. Have only used it a couple of times for short conversation. But overall would recommend.

Item received in good condition in a small branded box. The sound amplification device has been well and truly tested by my mom who has been up visiting and over the last few years her hearing has been getting worse even though she denies it. Some days I will say things on the phone and I know from her response that she just hasn’t heard what I am talking about at all.We got her set up with this and in went the headphones and it was like a switch being turned on. All of a sudden she was hearing the full conversation again and able to really be involved much more. Whilst my Mom is pretty good with tech she has found this device very simple and easy to use and she was off and running with it in no time. The directional sound mic works really well at picking up the sound in the direction its facing and cuts out much of the other ambient sounds. A slight floor we found though was if several people are talking in front sometimes a little conversation is not picked up but its more a case of getting used to working with the device and positioning yourself to help yourself.The battery life is fantastic and last days But my mom was topping it back up each night and was never close to it running out. Keeping it clean was a very easy process and the device is discreet and handbag sized which she really liked. The ear pieces don’t make it look like you are wearing a hearing aid of any kind which also makes it very discreet.

This hearing amplifier came boxed along with instructions, wired earbuds and charging cable. The amplifier charges via USB and has a straightforward design with a directional microphone on top and only a single knob for controls. The amplifier does not have any distractions like wireless functionality or a display screen.The housing is plastic but build quality seems fine with decent battery life and sound quality. Audio can be a little crackly at higher volumes but overall performance is far better than I expected, the directional mic helps a lot. Overall I am very happy with this hearing amplifier.

My son, who has moderate hearing loss, hates wearing his hearing aids as he doesn’t like the way things sound when wearing them. This is a great alternative!The reason why he doesn’t mind wearing this at school is because it looks like regular earbuds and he doesn’t look any different to anyone.There is a small device with a microphone that gets attached to his trousers, you can adjust the volume on this device. Then you use regular earbuds that plug into the device and every sound in the room gets amplified directly to your ears.The device is fully rechargeable. This is also a huge benefit over hearing aids as hearing aids use batteries that we have to KEEP replacing every few days which works out quite costly.The reason why I only gave this four stars is because the earbuds were quite junky and broke quickly, however you can use any earbuds to replace them so it wasn’t that big of an issue.
