    Impressive little power station. It will 100% power my Bougerv diesel heater using the 12v dc cigarette/accessory port. Enough battery life for possibly running the heater for 2 nights on low to medium settings. Super small. About the size of a 6 pack of beer

    Perfect for air mattress inflation.
    Used to fill up an air mattress (giant twin 18 inch tall model) which only took 1 % power to fill and 2 % power to deflate and put away. Came charged at 47 % power and 2.5 more hours plugged in at home to get to 100%. Comes with a DC cigarette charge cord adapter for charging while you drive. So Easy to use / never had to consult the manual. Weighs nothing, very portable, cuter than Wall-E and super affordable. Love it!

    Impressive Upgrade
    After using the Jackery Explorer 300 daily for four days in the forest, I’ve concluded that it is an IMPRESSIVE UPGRADE over my smaller Jackery Explorer 240.UPDATES:9-17-20201). From 99%, it took only 10 to 15 minutes more to get to 100% when plugged into the 12V DC outlet of my vehicle & the Explorer 1000. More efficient charging than through my gas generator’s AC outlet. Pleasant surprise!The GREATS1). Faster 12V DC ChargingImmediately after picking it up from the post office, I took it out of the box & plugged it into my vehicle’s 12V DC outlet & charged it during my 4 to 5 hour trip back up the mountains where I’ve been staying since the pandemic. It was at 37% charge capacity when it started charging. After approximately 3 hours and an input of steady 80 watt, it was at 99% charge already(to my pleasant surprise). This is a huge improvement to the Explorer 240 because it would take about 5 hours to get recharged the same capacity. In addition, this is very important to me since I don’t have my solar panel yet and I do a lot of driving exploring a huge forest.2). Improved 12V DC CableThis was my initial BIG complaint when I got my first Jackery, the Explorer 1000. I didn’t get one in my box. Even worse, when I borrowed my friend’s 12V DC cable charger (cause it took a while to get one from Jackery), the PLASTIC TIP that inserts into my vehicle’s 12V DC outlet melted (see photo) after charging the Explorer 1000 through the same 4 to 5 hour trip back up the mountains. I did not experience this problem with the Explorer 300. Although the cable seem the same, the plastic tip DID NOT MELT this time. Imagine my relief.3). 293WH Seemed More EfficientAs soon as we got back to our campsite, I immediately unplugged my 70qt car fridge/freezer from the Explorer 1000 & plugged it into the Explorer 300’s 12V DC outlet. I left the Explorer 300 with 99% charge while the fridge was set at 20°F on eco mode (as always). When I checked it in the morning, it was at 50% charge after 9 hours overnight. Usually, the Explorer 240 would be down to 40% or 30% charge and the Explorer 1000 would be down to 60% charge from 100% at the same settings. However, I also have to mention that the first night that I got and used the Explorer 300 was also the first night that the temperature was very cold at 24°F. It most likely helped run the fridge’s compressor less frequent which meant less power demand. I’d know for sure next summer and I’ll give an update here.4). Recharges My USB Devices Pretty FastAlthough I don’t have a definitive and scientific measurement of how long it takes to recharge my devices: cell phone, tablets and Jackery power banks, I know for sure that the recharge time is appreciatively faster than when I’m using the Explorer 240 to do the same task. Ergo more productivity.5). Consistent Charging With a Gas Operated GeneratorThe input was a steady 77 watt from a 120 volt AC outlet of my generator which I prefer to the fluctuating input of 162w to 167w into the Explorer 1000. It’s really no big deal, but I just like it better steady.6). Plenty of Safety Featuresa). Like the other Explorers, the Explorer 300 also shuts down after 12 hours if a plugged device(s) drawing under 10 watts of power. This happened to me when I plugged my 12V electric fan into the 12V DC outlet drawing only 7 watts of energy. According to Jackery, this is to prevent damage to the lithium ion battery used in the unit. In turn, this feature also helps the unit last longer.b). Like the Explorer 240, the Explorer 300 does not power or run my 12v DC tire inflator/compressor at high state of charge. During my test, the Explorer 300 was at 86% charge capacity. Even after three times of attempt to power my tire inflator, I had no luck. However, I was able to run the inflator when the Explorer 300 was down to 45% charge. Again, according to Jackery, this is a safety feature.c). Unlike the Explorer 240 that doesn’t have one, the Explorer 300’s 12v outlet’s rubber cover certainly prevents foreign objects from being inserted. Thus, avoiding electrical accidents or fire.d). The unit’s design is very safe for children & pets. There are no moving parts or handle that folds down to trap any body part. Moreover, there’s really no paint to chip and swallow. The paint seems to be baked in. There’s also no sharp corners!The SHORTS1). Takes a Long Time to Charge to 100%Although it’s quick to get to 99%, it took almost an hour to get the last 1% of charge via the 120v AC outlet of my gas operated generator because the input goes down (see photos) as the charge goes up. Bummer!2). Won’t Run My 12V Tire Inflator at High Charge CapacityIt just doesn’t make sense to an electrically challenged person like me why I can’t power my inflator while the charge capacity of the Explorer 300 is above 50%. This means that if I had a flat tire or I need to inflate my air mattress & rubber boat (at the lake, away from my vehicle’s 12V DC outlet) I have to deplete the charge capacity to 50% or less first from a full charge or never fully charge it.In the end, the Explorer 300 embodies the same high quality that is a signature of Jackery. Kudos to the Jackery team for producing another top shelf unit that is of great value. I highly recommend this product to everyone. This is especially helpful during this present time of uncertainty.Hope this helps.

    Use with Resmed Airsense 11 CPAP
    I am writing this for those of us who know little to nothing about electricity, batteries, watt hours, amps, volts, etc. and who mostly wish to use this battery with their CPAP. I have both the Resmed Airsense 10 and the Airsense 11 CPAPs. I bought the Jackery Explorer 300 which comes with the lithium ion battery and puts out 293 Wh (watt hours). (There is a newer model which comes with a Life0P4 battery, and costs more. The LiFe0P4 is supposed to be a safer and longer-lasting battery, plus that one comes with a flashlight built into the battery.)Back to the Explorer 300 with the lithium ion battery which I just bought. It comes with two different charging cords, one to plug into your car’s cigarette lighter, and the other to plug into your home’s AC outlet. It also comes with a helpful instruction guide. It tells you what percent of battery you have available. Mine arrived at just 49% so I charged it up to 100%.I used it last night with my Airsense 11 and I did not have the heat or humidity turned on. That makes a huge difference, or so I’m told. I simply plugged the CPAP into the AC input on the battery, and I pushed the AC button on the battery to turn it on. My CPAP started pumping air after just a couple of seconds.According to the CPAP, I slept for 8 hours and 7 minutes at a pressure of 12. (You can look up your pressure number on the CPAP machine.) According to the battery, I have 49% left, so I used 51%. So, if I’m calculating this correctly, 51% of 293 Wh = 149 watt hours used, and I slept about 8 hours, so 149/8 = 19 watts per hour. That’s the average watts of battery I use with my Airsense 11 CPAP, at an average air pressure of 12, when it’s plugged into the AC input of the battery. It probably wouldn’t last for two nights because the battery will shut itself off before it runs out of juice as a protection measure.Now here’s an important thing to note. I haven’t tried it yet, but I asked the Jackery customer service people if I would get more Wh of usage if I plugged into their DC input instead of the AC, and they answered that yes, most definitely I would. Amazon sells a Resmed Airsense 11 DC converter for $36.99 which should allow one to plug their Airsense 11 CPAP into the DC input on the battery and get an extra day or two of battery life.Finally, why did I only give this a 4 star? Well, there are many other competitors out there and some offer more features, such as a flashlight on the battery. I definitely miss that! I will say that the Jackery Explorer 300 does have some up-to-date USB input and output slots for phones. And their customer service is okay, although it appears that the only way to reach them is by email. I didn’t see a way to call them. They also have a 2 year warranty on this battery which, if you sign up as a Jackery “member,” they will give you one additional year of extended warranty. So their warranty is better than the other 300 watt batteries I’ve seen on Amazon. By the way, if you purchase the battery from a brick and mortar store such as Best Buy, you have to upload pictures of your sales receipt and such. Filling out their warranty application is a pain, and their web instructions as to where to find the model number is not correct! (It’s on the box, not on the battery itself, as the instructions say.)All in all, the Explorer 300 works well for my main use — my CPAP. I think it would also work well enough for the Airsense 10, although that CPAP uses a higher wattage. You just have to be sure to turn off heat and humidity in order to make it through the night with either of those CPAP machines.

    I purchased this product specifically to off grid power a Resmed 10 Cpap unit . It did not disappoint. It ran efficiently all night on a 100% charge ( with 31-38% remaining after 8 hrs. ) . I used it 3 consecutive nights. Each morning I recharged the unit using all three methods ( outlet plug in/ solar panel / and 12 volt car charger). The wall outlet recharged to 100% in about 90 minutes. The solar panel varied with the weather ( from 4 to 7 hrs). The 12 volt car charger took roughly 2 1/2 hrs.The unit is compact and easy to haul ( for kayak/ canoe trips) .The solar panel appears durable and is light .I highly recommend.

    Quality brand. Thoughtful packaging that made it easy to open. Well protected with foam. Jackery thinks of everything. Simple to use. Simple instructions. Wide variety of applications. Be sure to understand that this is only 293 Wh and is not, in my opinion, very suitable for anything requiring heat. I purchased this as a power source for my modem and router in a power outage. I use power banks for recharging cell phones.

    We fully charged the Jackery 300 before our 3-day, 2-night camping trip and it was amazing. Super compact and easy to use. It powered our queen air mattress, 4 smart phones, 2 portable fans, and lights with no problem. The build feels really solid, and I love the LED display that shows how much power is left.We got home with 50% battery still remaining. Definitely a game changer for camping!

    This is a great power pack to keep all your electronics and batteries, such as cellphones, cameras, drones etc., charged up when outside the power grid. It’s a great balance between size and weight. I often use it on my camping trips while filming content for my YouTube channel.
