Does the job. I like that it lights green when connected to power, although it should probably have a feature to turn that off (or just use some electrical tape). I’ve had this for over a year and its worked like a charm.

Plug doesn’t come out
First off, the plug on this charger fit my laptop which I’m surprised because I had just returned a charging cord because it didn’t fit my laptop. This one did which was great. The one thing I noticed that’s different than the original I had, the part that plugs into my laptop doesn’t come loose easily. Ever since I got my laptop, the cord that came with it was always loose. With this cord, it plugs in with a snug grip and doesn’t come unplugged or is loose at all. The cord is roughly the same length, maybe a tad bit longer but chargers my laptop fast and will keep it charged while it’s plugged in. Really great charger and highly dependable, better than the original that I got.

I believe that a dependable power supply is crucial for gaming laptops, particularly when it comes to keeping up with the power demand during strenuous gaming sessions, and this charger gave just what was needed. I had the impression that it offered a steady and continuous charge, which enabled me to play for extended periods of time without having to worry about pauses or variations in power. I get the impression that the chord is long-lasting, and the attachment point is secure without being too tight. The fact that this product seems to have lived up to my expectations is a testament to the fact that I believe it is essential to own a connection that is not readily loosenable. Additionally, the length of the cable is useful since it provides me with sufficient flexibility to plug it in from a variety of locations inside my room where I am comfortable. During the process of setting up in different areas across the home, this has proven to be extremely beneficial. In spite of the fact that I use my laptop for lengthy periods of time for gaming, I have the impression that the charger does not get too hot. This is comforting for reasons of safety.

great replacement cable for most msi laptops!
okay first off, this is a 180W brick which supplies power fast because my old brick was 120W. that 60W difference made it charge faster.this product includes 2 charging adapters. if the product doesnt fit, the included adapters so it will fit. one of them fits my gaming laptop and it works! the only caveat is that its a bit loose and i see it coming off most of the time i try to move my laptop or if i accidentally tug on the wire. Inconvenience or safety feature?this brick has a charging light which is nice to see whether it’s supposed to work or not. the cable is like 1.5x thicker than my old one which means that it should deliver more power and more strength.i use it on an msi gf63 thin, will probably work with all versions of the gf63 family.

Good charger
It’s a great charger, does what it needs to do, fits my computer perfectly. It’s durable. It does not overheat at all. My only issue and the reason 2 stars is taken off, is because it slips out of the charger hole so easily. Maybe it’s just my laptop (it’s been through a few chargers lol) overall id recommend this charger to other customers.

Don’t leave home without your power cord!!
I went to a scrapbook retreat about 2 hours from my home. I took my computer and I forgot my power cord at home. So I ordered one from Amazon. It was supposed to be there the next day, when I ordered it. After I hit enter to complete my transaction, it was to come in 2 days. When I got it, I plugged it in and turned on my computer and my computer made a very awful, loud beeping noise. I turned the computer off and used a different plug in. The same thing happened. So I did not get to use my PC for the 5 days I was there. I returned the power cord when I got home. When I plugged in my original power cord, my pc worked perfectly.

Well made and extra plug adapters means this will work with a variety of devicesStrong, well made with thick cables, it will last a long timeIf you are new to electricity and or replacing a high power notebook charger here are some important and simple safety tips. These will make your equipment last longer and prevent it from getting fried. Always make sure the plug is secure and the polarity is correct, where center positive or negative matches. Some notebooks have the ability to either use dual polarity, or a protection feature. Ones that do not can get fried instantly meaning expensive repairs or worse. If polarity is unknown, do not risk it, a voltage tester is ~20 bucks on Amazon and very worth it.All quality power supplies should list this on the data sticker found on the power brick itself. This also has important information about power specs. There is a simple rule of thumb to follow for matching power supplies like this. There are three ratings voltage, amperage and watts. Voltage must never be much higher (1-2% tops to be safe) than the device has listed or it will fry. Lower voltage may not be good either as it can stress components. For amperage and watts these can be higher than what the device needs as long as the voltage is correct. Watts and amperes should not be lower than the device needs because it can stress the device and the power supply. This is a very basic explanation for typical regular use. Also keeping your power brick as cool as possible will extend its life. This is why gaming chargers often fail; too much heat works it too hard. If it is uncomfortable/too hot to touch that is where significant lifespan shortening will typically start. The hotter it is the faster it will fail. If you would like to learn how to fry electronics take up overclocking as a hobby.Protip: A second power supply is a good spare, and can be kept around the house where you like to use your notebook, to save form having to carry the brick around. This also preserves battery longevity on these large notebooks by using charger power as much as possible. Hopefully these pointers help save people some money:)

I just got a new laptop maybe a month ago and my cat decided to chew through the charging cord so getting this has really helped me because I’ve been using my laptop for schooling and it’s kind of hard when you can’t charge it it’s one of those store specials where it’s only sold at the store, and I don’t wanna have to go through warranty in order to get a new one not that they would warrantee a cat chewed power cord calling all this works Great very impressed with it. Fit my laptop. No problem.
