These make awesome bedside lamps for kids!
These smart lamps are great for the money, and ideal for a child’s room. The touch control makes it easy to turn on with a tap of your finger and off with a double-tap, and once on, you can change color with each additional tap. You can also adjust brightness by touching and holding, though it takes a few seconds to cycle through all the brightness levels.Setup was simple with the Apple Home app, and both the Apple Home and Meross apps work nicely to control the color, brightness, and power on/off.I bought 2 and the WiFi on one stopped working after a couple months but Meross customer support was great and sent a replacement after a brief bit of troubleshooting.If it were for my own bedroom, the Soft White setting is a little too yellow for my taste, and I can’t seem to adjust it quite to my preference, but for kids it’s perfect.

I bought 14 of these over the course of the last year, I use them every day all day for lighting in several rooms. I didn’t have trouble setting it up and I love the light it emits. I would recommend this lantern!

Consistently, inconsistent.
I purchased this smart lamp back in Feb 2021 after having read some solid reviews I was initially excited about the product. But almost immediately, I came across issues.Set up was difficult. I had to add the accessory onto my home app at least 4 times before it was successfully connected. And from there on out, network connection dropped several times a week, just with this HomeKit accessory. This has been the experience since having it, but I had learned to just accept it. It worked, but as mentioned, the inconsistent issues just kept happening.About 3 days ago it completely stopped connecting to my home network. There was no changes on how I used the product, moved it to another location, an accidental bump – nothing, it just stopped working. After trying the factory reset and reconnecting it for about 5 times, I just gave up on the item. Amazon was kind enough so send me a replacement.And here we are again. Exact same issues have surfaced. Setup was very complicated, it took several attempts. Connection is again very inconsistent, and at the time of writing this it is just not being picked up by my home network. All other HomeKit devices are working fine. At this point I am returning the item and will not be buying any further Meross items, very unfortunate experience.
