Highly recommended for quality cost effective tracking
This thing works great. I’ve tried othertrackers and either I can’t get them to work or the subscriptions are very costly. This one is easy to set up, easy to install in my vehicle and is pretty accurate. Best part is the battery lasts a long time and you have several options for how often it reports which saves battery life if you have it report less frequently. This would be my recommendation for anyone looking for a low cost effective tracker. Just be sure if you use the magnet to attach to a vehicle that it is secure and will not get jostled loose and fall off. I lost one that way when we hit a bump really hard

Pleasantly surprised!!
Awsome device for the price. Functions as expected. Pretty accurate. Only thing is I wish you could deactivate it remotely if need be and burn it (figuratively speaking) so it cant be traced if discovered of your using it for say a cheating spouse and he happens to take his car to the mechanic for service and its discovered. However, you can give it commands from the app like how often to update and turn on/off power saver mode. But no deactivate command or burn command.

He takes $20 a month for GPS only. You can get any smartphone, with a prepaid provider for $25 a month and get internet voice, data, and text. The fact that they are just using a SIM card for GPS makes $20 per month steepVersus the competition: I have always used to Tracki and I think this is a similar price with the subscription and advice, with very similar accuracy, destiny different platform and interface. It also has better battery lifeThe prior version of Optimus is the best price for what you get, but the battery life is less and tracki he has more options. I simply looking for accuracy and price, not battery life, you don’t this new version. However, has a one-time purchase I don’t see why you wouldn’t catch the one with the best battery life since tracking often poses a challenge when it comes to keeping it charged

Heads up there’s a $20 monthly fee for the gps to work. The battery life is great and long lasting. The location accuracy is off, so it gives you an estimate no a precise location or time. May have a lag. The magnetic is strong . It’s a good gps tracker device

This little GPS tracker is the best on the market. I’ve been using it for months and not one issue. Charge holds for well over a month.

Multiple Replacements
This product was good at first. Then I had one that would not stop vibrating. It wouldn’t turn off, you couldn’t reset it or anything. Customer was good about that one. They requested I send it back as they were sending me a replacement. The replacement worked for a VERY SHORT amount of time before it wouldn’t hold a charge at all. I called customer service MULTIPLE times to get a resolution. Of of the 4-5 people I spoke with, all would give me the same advice about how to plug it in and charge it properly (it was always charged properly). Told me to take the tracker for a ride and it would reset it and it would work just fine. Never happened. Just called to cancel my service and was told the last time I called was 4 months ago. My last call was only a month ago. They don’t even keep accurate notes and records. When I ask for refund of some of my money because this hasn’t been working for 8 months. That is 8 months of me calling trying to get resolution. The answer was “We will open a ticket and keep you in the loop”. Are you kidding me right now? That translates into, no you will not be receiving a refund due to our lack of ability to perform our jobs and produce a working item. Very disappointing Optimus, very disappointing.

Super User friendly
Compared to “professional” $2000 models, this does the same thing.This has been installed for 10 days on my son’s vehicle (inside the trunk) and still has 90% battery life.In my line of work I’m not supposed to recommend services, however if you own anything you want to be able to recover quickly, I would highly recommend this.$20 a month for the service.-you can change the settings from 10 minutes to 3 seconds-you can set up a geofence-you can set up speed alerts-you can set motion alerts-you can view travel patternsAll this is done with the app which is super user friendly, and you receive text messages for the alerts..I would NOT recommend the hard wired models as they will cut these out before they steal it.
