Recommend PBD passive antenna, if very close to the broadcast towers, if your house is already wired,
If you live near broadcast towers, it’s possible to overamplify or boost the signal too much and worsen reception, we recommend passive antenna.if your house is already wired,Put B07PHMSTFF into Amazon search box for PBD passive antenna.
Recommended to be mounted 30 feet above the ground
NOTE: Cable channels are not available using the antenna, like ESPN.
Many antennas on the market are optimized to receive only UHF broadcasts and do not reliably receive VHF. All PBD TV antennas are precision-tuned to receive both UHF and VHF frequencies and will provide you with the most HD content.Generally, the higher the antenna is above the ground, the better it performs. The amount and quality of the channels you receive will depend on the following:
Channels being broadcast in your area Broadcast tower locations Strength of the broadcast signals Line of sight and environmental terrain

To protect your house and your TV installation, your antenna system must be properly grounded.
1, Clamp a#10 copper or #8 aluminum grounding wire to the base of the antenna mast. Using stand-offs every 1.2m to 1.8m /4 to 6 feet, run the wire down the building in as straight a line as possible.
2, Attach a 300-Ohm static discharge unit (lightning arrestor) or a 75-Ohm grounding block to the antenna’s lead-in cable as close as possible to the point where the cable enters the house.
3, Attach the grounding wire to the lead-in cable’s grounding unit and run the wire to the central building ground.
Acceptable central building ground points may include:
Grounded interior metal cold water pipe within 1.5m/ 5 feet of the point where it enters the building Grounded metallic service raceway
Grounded electrical service equipment enclosure
2.4m / 8foot grounding rod driven into the ground (only if bonded to the central building ground by #6 or heavier bonding wire)
Other acceptable electrodes that comply with the sections 250 and 810 of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
Note: TV signal reception is immensely affected by the conditions such as antenna height, terrain, distance from broadcasting transmission antenna and output power of transmitter. Channels you can watch may vary depending on these conditions.
Please check the TV’s manual to make sure the TV has a built-in tuner for receiving over-the-air broadcast

WATCH WHAT YOU WANT!
The HDTV reception ensures that you always have the highest quality content.
Depending on your location, the HDTV antenna can receive include NBC, FOX, CBS, ABC, PBS, THE CW, QUBO, TELEMUNDO, UNIVISION, RTV, THIS TV, ION, ME TV, the weather channels and SO MUCH MORE.
Get free access to all the content available in your area, including the most popular over-the-air TV shows, news, sitcoms, kids programs, sports and much more, all in breathtaking 4K Ultra HD for the best picture quality, most vivid colors and stunning sound.
NOTE: BEFORE YOU BUY:
find channels that works in your area:
dtv.gov/maps is run by the Consumer Electronics Association and the National Association of Broadcasters. The interface hasn’t changed in over a decade, but it’s simple and the information is useful.TVFool is more complex but gives a lot more detail including gorgeous plots of theoretical signal strength and where the broadcast towers are located.
And if you’re looking for a cable-style TV schedule, “TitanTV” is a free Web service that lists local programming.
Please Note:
1. For flatscreen HDTVs, please check the TV’s manual to make sure the TV has a built-in tuner for receiving over-the-air broadcast, and make sure this tuner can receive HD signals or else it will not be able to receive and watch HD channels.
2.Retune your TV and/or digital box from time to time to ensure you are receiving all available services. Retuning takes only a few minutes using the remote control.
3.Antenna signal strength can vary depending on distance from the tower, terrain, and weather. Reposition the antenna in a different location if needed. It is best for the antenna to be in line of sight with the TV tower(s) and avoid obstructions. Always re-scan for channels after moving the antenna.
4. If your TV has no built-in tuner, you can add an ATSC digital converter box to receive the HD signal.

I recommend this antenna.
Reception is good, quality is good,it’s very lightweight and small and easy to install straightforward takes about 30 minutes to put it together and 30 minutes to go up on the roof and screw it on and another 30 minutes to button down the cable but it’s worth it and it is very lightweight compact and it does exactly what it says. If you just follow the instructions and you can go online and scan a barcode and I’ll give you a little video or two Videos to help you put it together and install it. I highly recommend buying this antenna. It’s worth the 50 bucks and you just have to follow instructions do what it says, it says to use the cable from the antenna to the power box and then from there if you want to split it off the other TVs after the cable box, that’s where you split it off, so if you can follow those instructions and do that it’ll work perfectly. So I come in to the first TV, which hopefully is only 30 to 50 feet away from the antenna because you wanna make sure that The cable they supply is long enough to go from the antenna to your box and then you go to your first TV and then we split it after the box and then go back outside and over the house for example to the other TVs or out of the house, and then through the attic, tell ever you wanna run the cable to your subsequent TVs. But I was pleasantly surprised that it worked so good albeit I do have it on the chimney of the second story and so I have a pretty good shot 40 miles away towards all of the sanding towers in Los Angeles. When you open the box you’re kind of overwhelmed because there is a bunch of parts and it’s all completely apart and you have to click in 6 to 8 of those little Stick like Parts But if you follow directions watch the video you’ll have it put together in 15to 30 minutes and when I say 30 minutes that’s at the very longest that it will take. And the same thing with put it up on the roof it’ll probably only take you 20 minutes, but I wrote down 30 minutes and that’s at the very longest it won’t take any longer than that and then, when you button down the cable, it should only take you 10 minutes for that but at the very outside it will be 30 minutes so in an hour and a half you should be watching TV I was watching TV probably within 25 minutes but I had to go back and button down to Cable later.

Great antenna from a great seller
Wow, I just realized I never wrote a review for this great antenna? I purchased this two and a half years ago, and it has been up on my roof ever since, working great. I like that at night I can glance up there and see the tiny red led glowing, which reassures me that it is still alive and well. This is a low-cost option for a full-featured antenna. As an engineer, I praise the design efficiency, and ability to bring us this product at such a great price, while having the same performance as any other “name brand” antenna in it’s class. With modern digital TV, you either have a perfect picture, no picture, or one that “glitches” a bit if the signal is too weak, like from a far away station, or a poor performing antenna. I live about 40 miles from Washington, DC, further from Baltimore, in the country, and I am getting every station available to me with this antenna. The rotation feature, while simple in nature, allows me to dial-in the ideal compromise aiming direction, and just leave it there, pulling in every channel. I get every station in perfect digital clarity, no digital noise at all from weak stations. One last thing–when I first received this antenna, I got a dud, the red led power light didn’t come on at all. This seller immediately apologized that I got a bad one, and put my perfect replacement in the mail so I received it in just a few days. That’s what has been running for 2.5 years now. He even let me keep the dud for spare parts. So, great product, great seller, thanks!

Super product
When I received this product, there was a little damage on the box, but not problem with the contents. When I got all the parts out of the box and saw that it was a snap together product, I wasn’t sure about if it would work as good as I was hoping. A friend came over to help install it on an existing antenna pole and we found that the opening to attach the pole I had wasn’t big enough, just a 1/8th of an inch too narrow, but we took the attachment apart and was able to just get it on the pole securely. We ran the cable down the pole, and pulled the cable through with the previous cable, hooked it up, insured the rotor worked, then did a channel search. We are about 40 miles from Orlando to the north and 60 miles from Tampa. At the end of the channel search we had 132 channels! We had both Tampa stations we watched with the previous antenna and more channels than we had from the Orlando area. The antenna wasn’t pointed at either areas, but the channels came through with wonderful clarity, no matter which channels we watched. We don’t need to use the rotor as the reception from both areas is great with this one antenna setting. I hope I don’t need to buy another antenna, but if I do, this one is great, easy to assemble.

Router makes ya go hmmm…
The built in router just goes whater direction it feels like when you hit the button.I have to go outside with the router remote reciever in the window to ensure that it stops where I need it to.aside for the router being a bit cheesy. the Antenna itself is great!
