Point to Multipoint

CPE450 Air

I mounted mine to a 1.5” pole and then to a weatherproof box which was screwed to the side of my house and RV garage.
Installation Instructions for extending the signal from one point to another. I needed Wi-Fi in my RV garage which is about 150’ from my house. I was only getting 1 bar (if that) from my house Wi-Fi. It is unknown how the one on the RV garage will hold up in the Idaho summer. It faces south so it will get heated a lot.

Just imagine these as an invisible ethernet cable. I bought a set to get wifi to my brother’s barn which is 77 yards from his house according to his golf range finder.
I configured a wireless router I had laying around as an access point and plugged that into the receiver antenna. What that does in effect is give multiple devices access to the receiver antenna/internet. We’re streaming just fine in the barn with this unit.

Works better than I expected-100 down at the barn through trees
Installed a few weeks ago to get wifi into the shop about 375 feet from the house. I was afraid of a 70’ wide clump of trees between house and barn. I mounted it temporarily only 6 feet off the ground because it was the cleanest line of sight, but still had lots of lower limbs and lower leaves to penetrate. Maybe in the spring when it’s in full bloom I may have to adjust the positioning, but it works great for now. Out of the router in my home office I get about 300 down and 250 up. I put the router under a window near the slave to get wifi in the courtyard. In the courtyard 120 down/100 up. In the barn 20 feet from the router 157/139, far side of the barn 65’ from the router through one wall 97/8. All that at 5ghz, not having to drop to 2.4. Plenty good for YouTube TV and updates for the laser and CNC. Setup was pretty easy. Watch several setup vids as they are better than reading instructions. Highly recommend.

Works Great on Outbuilding 400′ away from main building – Full Strength
Works great. Needed to extend Wifi to outbuilding on small farm that is 400 feet away from home base. I have Starlink (additional adaptar required for connection to external ethernet cable). Instructions are not clear (every one comments on this). Following is to clarify instructions on how I set it up to broadcast single 400′ away to a T-Plink router used as an access point (took me two hours including mounting etc.).1. Device #1 in main building, set to A, (there is A-B switch on bottom of device). This is master device. Plug Cat-6 ethernet cable into Lan1 on Master Device. 2. Other end of Ethernet Cable comming out of Master Device is plugged into POE port (2 Power supplies come with devices). 3. Plug another ethernet cat-6 cable from Power Supply to your primary router (any open Lan Port). 4. Second Device Mount on Secondary location where you want to send signal to (point intial device to secondary device). This secondary device needs to have AB switch set to B. 5. Plug Ethernet cable-cat 6 in Lan1 port in Second Device. Run second cat-6 device into second power supply port that identified as POE. 6. Run another cat-6 ethernet cable from power supply of secondary device port labled Lan to a second router (I used T-Link 1200 which supports Point of Access). Plug that second cable into a Lan Port (doesn’t matter which one) of the Second Router. 7. Plug in the power supply directly into outlet (needs to be done for each device). 8. Once you plug the devices in, check Device #1 to see what channel it is on (mine defaulted to #1), then Check secondary device to see what channel it is picking up broadcast (mine automatically defaulted to #1). If channel on secondary device is not equal to the same channel on primary (A) device, then hit button on device #2 until it matches same channel as Primary Device. 9. Turn out Second Router (reboot at least once), and a wireless signal should now broadcast in your secondary location. Password for Secondary Router is the correct Password to use at the secondary location. On my T-Plink router the password was located on bottom of device. 10. Wait about 30 seconds and reboot your phone/tablet/PC and now look for signal on Secondary Router. 11. Select Wifi Signal from second router, enter password, and you will have a signal. Very strong over 400′ was able to stream, etc.. Works well, but tricky to set up. Price point is excellent as other devices are much more expense. I would recommend. PS I am not a networking or overly computer savy person and followed instructions from video I saw online and was able to make it work. Good luck!

Easy DIY Installation
I replaced an earlier wireless bridge from a different manufacturer. Used the existing ethernet cables but swapped out the power supplies because the output voltage was different. This unit Works great. The sending unit is indoors with line of sight to the receiver through a window. Still works fine.

Easy to mount and no setup needed
Had about a 400 foot distance to another building with no way to get a cable to it and needed the same WiFi at either building. Also have some cameras for security that needed WiFi. Used a couple of Direct TV dish mounts which is overkill cause these things don’t weigh much and they come with the metal screw clamp to attach it to the vertical pipe. Connected the one marked ‘A’ to existing switch thru provided PoE injector. At remote building connected the one marked ‘B’ to a small 10/100 switch thru the other provided PoE injector. The UeeVii connected instantly, showed full signal strength, and the thru put was 80 up and down so good speed. I hooked a router to the switch that had the option of making it an access point. I set the ssid on the router the same as the main building and also matched the password and now can move from one building to the other and I automatically get WiFi without changing anything on my phone. There is a cover that snaps on the bottom to protect the connections. It has two ethernet connections but I only used one on each end. I also like the status lights on the side that are visible from the ground. Overall very pleased as I didn’t have to do anything but point them at each other and plug them in.

The instructions are difficult to follow, there are some good videos online that step you through it. The first one that came had a POE adapter that was defective, you can tell if the LED is flickering on the unit that is plugged into it. Ordered another one and used an adapter from that and returned the first as defective. So with all of this, why 5 Stars? Because this thing is excellent and easy to install. LEDs on the side make it dead simple to make sure you have strong signal. Network is rock solid with no issues. Installed in a few minutes between two houses 200M apart. Highly recommended if you need easy and inexpensive network connectivity between buildings with clear LoS.

I bought the kit to extend wifi to another building and this gear did the trick with no issue. The install was simple as the kit came with mounting brackets and everything was basically plug and play. It took more time to run the data cable than it did to get the wifi working. My install was only about 200 feet away so the signal strength is strong so as long as there is a clear line of sight, I can see how this same equipment could reach much further. It’s only been a week since it was installed but there has been zero issues.

Does what it says easy to follow guide did the job disable the ‘workgroup’ public access 😊 not had a chance to put in place a ‘sniffer’ software in order to determine any unwanted access.Might run wireshark later.

I am using this to bridge internet about 100m wirelessly. This does the job and I am pleasantly surprised by the ease of setup. I would recommend this if you need to bridge an internet gap.Update: at about week two of installation, one of the devices stopped working. I emailed their service and they shipped a new device. The service is great!
