Great smart watch!
I wanted to participate in a steps challenge so I wanted to get a smart watch, however, I am not a watch person so I didn’t think buying an apple watch would be a good investment for me especially if I end up dropping a lot of money on it only to eventually stop wearing it, so I decided to go on a hunt for an alternative. Eventually, I came across this one and there was some pretty good reviews on this so I decided to take the plunge. For me, I keep the watch pretty basic, so I don’t have notifications on (phone calls, text, etc.) nor do I use it for my calendar or eventsI have now worn it close to a month and although I have some gripes with it, I am overall satisfied.Pros:- Personalization: You have a good selection of band interfaces to choose from and can change them easily within the band or app.- Battery life: Excellent!- Health Tracking: For someone who is just starting to workout in some way or wants to track health, this is a great basic start. Some of the youtube reviewers did say that the app could use some work and is too “lite”, but this is my first smart band and I think it does a great job with not overwhelming you. I mainly use it to track my heart rate, stress levels, sleep, and cycles but it also has blood oxygen, weight, blood pressure, blood sugar and vitality score. Along with calories burnt, steps, and moving. This can be seen on the app and band.- Workout: It has so many workouts to choose from that I am sure you’ll find yours there. I only use it for walking and pilates. For walking, I can see my route on the app because of the GPS, along with other data. Pretty neat.- Screen: It’s a good size, it’s slim, and the screen is bright. I have it in auto detect so it adjusts its brightness based on the environment you are in and it’s very responsive.Cons:- Sizing (Minor): For people with small wrists like me, I have to wear it somewhat tight. It’s still pretty comfortable though! I have just enough spacing that I can slide it if I get too self-conscious about the tightness. This is a minor con. I’m going to consider buying a different band.- Screen (Major): It scratches so easily! I had so many micro scratches within the 1st to 2nd week. I had to buy a screen protector.- Alarm (Minor): It is in 24H and cannot be changed, but I do like the vibrating feature though.- Tracking (Minor, because it hasn’t entirely failed me, but can easily go to Major): For some reason the GPS acts up as soon as I walk out of the house which is ANNOYING. When I first had it happen to me, I didn’t know what to do and it would not connect, so I had to reset it. It undid everything back to factory settings when I did that, and luckily the band is basic so I had to re-download the band interfaces I previously had and re-sort the apps, nothing too complicated. Well the 2nd time it happened, I just decided to force start my workout and it pretty much got signal within seconds and was fine, so I hope they fix that or upgrade it in the next version.- Units of Measure (Minor to Major): For people in the US, you won’t be able to change everything to your metrics. You can change the weather and watch but you can’t change the height, weight, miles from the metric to imperial system or the alarm from 24H to 12H.- Compass (Major): I had such a hard time getting it to work for me.- Tasks (Minor): It doesn’t support emoji’s on the band and its VERY limited in characters.Wants:- Weather: I would like the band to be able to view the weather hourly for the next 3-7 days. It’s only able to do it daily for up to 3 days. Although you can use your phone, it would be more convenient to add this especially when you are outside doing your workout.- Tasks: I’ve only been able to input tasks through the app which is fine, but it doesn’t support emoji’s on the band and its VERY limited in characters which is a bummer. It would be nice to expand this app, as I am big on to-do lists and others as well. Or allow the syncing of the Apple Notes app with these upgrades.- Find phone/Find Device: I found that it only vibrates and I don’t have good hearing so this isn’t at all very helpful to me. It would be good if it actually made sound and did just a tad more in capabilities.- Music: it would be cool if it could access the playlists you have on your phone through the band. But, overall, you can play the current song you’ve been listening to, or will just automatically start with a random song once you hit play.- Units of Measure: It would be good to have all of them be changeable. Some are and some are not, and this can be a deal breaker for some people especially in the US.- Personalization: I would like more options. It makes it fun.

Excellent entry-level fitness tracker
Bought this for my wife, who never liked wearing watches before, and she absolutely loves this Mi Band. It’s lightweight and very comfortable, which made a huge difference for her. She mainly uses it to track sleep and heart rate during exercise, and the readings seem quite accurate. The battery life is also great and it easily lasts over a week on a single charge. Overall, this is an excellent entry-level fitness tracker with great performance for the price. Highly recommended!

Perfect fitness tracker
High quality for the price. I bought it just for steps tracking and heart rate tracking while working out. It does its job. The display is bright and easy to use. Easy to sync with your phone through its own app. The battery life is great.

Perfect for the average person
Really in love with this watch. I had 3 different Apple Watches that eventually ended up bugging out, desyncing constantly, and very poor battery life.I no longer felt the need to have phone notifications on my wrist bc I look at my phone anyway tbh. I only really cared ab the fitness tracking & telling time/date. So for me, getting this was absolutely perfect.Pros:- price point, who can beat that price seriously- no need for a subscription like fitbit or other competitors. Fitness tracking is free- battery life is incredible. It lasts probably 2 weeks or more (I can’t even remember bc it lasts so long)- lightweight and compact. I love this so much bc I prefer a low profile watch in general, huge change coming from an Apple Watch. Sometimes i forget I have it on until i need to check the time.- lots of different & cute wallpaper/layout options- step counting ab the same as my Apple Watch in terms of sensitivity- lots of available sports for fitness trackingCons (for most people I assume, not me):- can’t respond to messages or answer calls on it- notification types are limited- customization is limited in terms of arrangement (there are a lot of wallpapers available but most of the layouts are fixed)- fitness data is limited, you won’t get the same stats as u would on more robust devicesAs I said I don’t really have any problems with the “cons” as my needs are simple. I want to see my step count, I want to record my workouts, knowing i exercised is good enough for me, and I want to tell time without me needing to charge this thing everyday. I would recommend it 100% to anyone like me.

Pretty decent with a few drawbacks.
Overall I like the watch, there is the issue of on 1 or 2 places on the watch it shows military time with no way to change it the actual watch time is not in military time though (i think it goes off your phones settings), Also the distance on the watch is in metric with no way to change to imperial, for these reasons I can only give it 4 stars. Heart rate and sleep tracking seem pretty accurate. I like the size, it’s big enough for my small wrist without being too big. I dont like that it measures heart rate at a max of 1 time per minute unless in the heart rate app or doing a workout or sharing heart rate data. Screen gets very bright and looks quality the 60 hz refresh rate ensures smooth scrolling. Seems pretty durable as the band is connected to the watch via metal and the housing is metal, unlike a fitbit charge 4 that I had that broke beyond repair when the strap part broke the plastic on the actual watch. Also I’ve already hit it on something and didn’t see any scratch.

Been using this for a couple of months now. It’s great. The battery lasts for a week or so with moderate use. It’s bright enough to see indoors and outdoors. Gives good readings on heart rate (for what it’s worth) and plenty of functions. Definitely worth it!
