Smart Lighting Made Simple
I wanted something that could bring more control to my LED strips, and this little controller did the trick. It connects through WiFi without needing extra gadgets, and setup with my phone was quick. I like being able to dim or brighten the lights right from the couch instead of messing with a manual switch. Voice control works smoothly, and now I can just call out when I want the lights turned down at night. It’s one of those small devices that makes the room feel more modern without adding clutter.

Simple way to make cheap LED strips “smart”
No issue adding directly to HomeKit by scanning its QR code. It could use the power supply that came with the cheap LED strip I had (WW, CW, 24v.) The only downside here is value. I assume in part driven by tariffs but ~$30 for a small LED driver is steep. No power supply, no included LEDs, just the smart controller. For a small amount more you can get a whole kit from meross or Aqara, so the value proposition here is making your old installs smart, not really starting from scratch with this as the foundation.

Custom Scenes in Seconds
The feature that stands out for me is how easy it is to create different scenes. With just a few taps on the app, I can switch the lights from a soft glow to something colorful and lively. The music sync option is fun when hanging out with friends—lights pulse along with the beat, which gives the whole space more energy. I didn’t need any complicated setup, and it worked right away with my existing LED strips. It feels like having multiple moods built into the same set of lights, and it makes the room feel less static.

A versatile, reliable controller with great smart features.
This Wi-Fi LED controller is easy to set up and gives a lot of control over different types of strip lights. It works with single color, CCT, RGB, RGBW, and RGB+CCT strips, and pairs quickly with the Tuya or Smart Life app. It also supports Alexa, Siri, and Matter for flexible voice control. Adjusting brightness, colors, and even music sync is simple from the app, and the timer function is handy for scheduling. A versatile, reliable controller with great smart features.

Good controller with tons of features, no power supply
Just installed this for some COB LEDs & it’s working well. It’s fairly easy to setup (if you have a bit of experience with this sort of stuff) & has tons of features…the lights look great with it. The size is small, so it’s easy to tuck away. The only thing you need to make sure of is that you find the right power supply for it, as it doesn’t include one. If you use the wrong one, it could make your lights do wonky things or just not work at all.

Helpful for Family Use
What I like most about this controller is how easy it is for everyone in the house to use. My kids figured out how to switch colors from the app right away, and I can set timers so the lights turn off automatically at night. Sharing access with other phones worked smoothly too. I also like that it links across different smart systems, so whether someone talks to Alexa or uses their phone, the lights respond. Having multiple options makes it convenient for a whole family.

Poor color reproduction
I wanted an LED controller with Matter connectivity for use in Home Assistant. However, I was not able to get this to commission in Home Assistant, I had to first commission in Apple Home then use Apple to set this to pairing mode and add it to Home Assistant. After this, I can control the LEDs in either ecosystem. But, that set up was frustrating. Perhaps its a function of my network setup, but I have not had this issue with other Matter devices. The biggest issue with this controller is the quality of color reproduction. I have these attached to a set of RGD LEDs that I have used with different controllers and have not had any issues with getting decent colors. This controller misses the mark on white, although the three primary colors seem to be just fine. This is a big miss in functionality for me.The size of this controller would be nice for applications where you’re hiding it in some furniture, or behind a TV. But, power supply could be an issue. This does not come with a power supply. It does provide an option for a barrel connector power supply, and lists DC12-48V as the input range. There are also two terminals for a bare wire connection shown as V+ and V-. The instruction manual implies these could be AC connections, but does not give an input voltage range for this power connection.Another small aggravation the set up, ensuring the correct “channel” was selected for your LEDs.This checks the box for a Matter enabled wifi LED controller, but misses the mark for the actual control of the LEDs.
