I like the Pautix brand, and this controller works great from the app and with Alexa. The truth is, I never use the manual button, and rarely use the App. I use Puatix COB as my primary light in the living room, and named it Ceiling forAlexa. Several routines use it and adjust brightness as well as On/Off. I can just tell Alexa “Ceiling 80” to turn it bright, or “Ceiling 20” for late night or too early morning.

This item is fantastic for easy control of the hidden under shelf cob light strips I got from the same company. The support team was excellent in helping me learn just what I needed to complete my project in advance of my purchases, from required power supply to connecting clips. Once they arrived, the installation was super easy and this module was easy to pair to the controller and easy to pair with my existing “Homelife” iPhone controlled wifi system. Thank you !

Don’t waste your time and money on this product, look elsewhere.
While some reviewers seemed to have success with this product, there were others who complained of blinking or not turning on at all. After about a month of use, we experienced the failures mentioned in other reviews. We took a chance on it and lost. I can’t recommend this product.Update: After troubleshooting, found the wall wort transformer that has been feeding the light string for a long time was acting up. I bypassed the dimmer and had similar blinking and intermittent off/on results. I replaced the wall wort, inserted the dimmer and all is good (at least for now).
