Great connection made easy
I used one of the female jacks in this kit to power the LED strips illuminating a grandfather clock face. It worked perfectly with my 12VDC power supply, and it was easy to attach the wires going to the LED strips.

Repaired Milwaukee Hoodie wire to Battery!
I repaired the male plug in of a Milwaukee 12 volt heated hoodie. Think I bought the very first generation many years ago. It’s lasted pretty well, but the plug in frayed and cost me a couple of battery holders before I noticed it. This fixed the issue.Note to anyone that wants to know about the repair. The gold wires are the +, the silver wires are the -. Positive and negative remakes on the plug wire mounts. Easy to do, make sure no extra wire is outside of the mounting holes. Make sure the slain goes a little inside the holes. Screw down hardReview: It fits perfect! 2.1mm. But its edges are squared and edges a bit hard. Maybe rounding them would help in some applications. But it works, and brought an old tool (essentially) back to life. Idea: maybe include a molded piece of shrink tubing to protect the wires and screw downs. This way the installed wires won’t want to move, thus keeping a tight connection. Great value for $4 since you get 2 of these (male & female included).
