I purchased this convenient little gadget to add SD capability to various electronics I use. The first big plus is the connectivity and compatibility, it has a 3 way cable so I will work with a PC, Android, or Apple product. I’m currently using it to transfer video files from my 360 camera to my ipad for editing. This frees up the wifi on my tablet so I can stay online while I edit. The functionality is super simple, just plug and play. The quality feels solid and the transfer speed is acceptable for this kind of device, for the price, it’s worth it. If you want super fast transfer speeds, you’ll have to spend quite a lot more.

Works great on bird feeder SD card
So to be honest, I am not all that great at dealing with complicated electronic things. It stresses me out way too much. This has unfortunately hindered my enjoyment of my bird feeder camera and my regular camera’s photos and videos. Furthermore, I was incurring unnecessary costs on my phone for picture storage, unaware that I could save them to a card instead of paying for cloud services.I own a Samsung phone, and this particular SD card reader has been a tremendous help. Not only has it alleviated my stress, but it has also enabled me to view all the videos and pictures from my camera, as well as the footage from my bird feeder camera. It has eliminated a nearly $15 monthly subscription fee on my phone for picture storage. This device is incredibly user-friendly, and I wish I had discovered it sooner. It is compact enough to store in my desk drawer and is compatible with both my Samsung phone and Dell laptop. I have been able to utilize all my SD cards without any issues and am really happy with its performance. It is a truly valuable item that offers broad utility. I highly recommend it.
