bought this unit because I refuse to pay 300$+ for the big namebrand units. im very impressed with how well it functions for the price. my buddy had just bought a Marcum camera close to 400$ and he admitted he was jealous that mine had a bigger screen, recording feature and picture might have look better. cant turn the IR lights completely off but I just unplug them nbd. the light doesn’t seem to bother the fish one bit. my only gripe is the battery life could be just a touch better. but overall its a good unit. I would recommend. also, buy a aqua view tripod or a Marcum camera compass.. I didn’t even attempt to use the bobber they supplied in the unit.

Excellent Underwater Camera
This camera captures clear underwater footage day or night, in clear and murky conditions. The camera housing and lens are substernal and tough. The carrying case is durable and the entire kit is extremely portable and the 9″ video screen makes watching footage live or in playback mode easy for all. I have used the camera successfully to view fish activity, and to find personal items that were dropped and lost 30′ deep at the bottom of the lake. I recommend the longer 50M camera cord. I thought the 30M length would plenty of depth but the camera is good enough to go deeper. without loosing video quality Great product and good purchase for the price. Also, I want to express a sincere thank you to Tina from Eyoyo Customer Service. Tina was responsive to my emails, answering product questions thoroughly, in a timely manner, and even followed up to confirm my satisfaction with the product. Great service! Thanks again.

Overall a good product, but,…
Better than any other competitor on the same price range. The image on the display is crisp, colors are natural, product settings are pretty friendly. Tested on the garage temperature, 45 F, the battery lasted 4 hours. I am not sure if I ended up with a old or defective battery pack, but the lifespan is too short related to the manufacturer statement of 6-8 hours working time. I am curious how much the battery last on freezing temperatures.The so defined HD 1000TVL is far away from a high definition. The image on the display is good, but NO HIGH DEFINITION.The missing led light option, and the only 12 IR led, makes this camera a little bit of disappointment. A better illumination of the fishing area using regular led’s could be a better choice.The holding box is the worst of all: the box top, holding the display can be opened at 90 degrees at most, making the use of the product very uncomfortable. For a better view the box must rested elevated.As I stated, a decent product with a lot of room for improvement. I hope the manufacturer will take some action related to the stated flaws

Great product for the price (ice fishing review)
Love this camera so far. It took a few attempts to figure it out but I eventually got it to do just what I wanted. For ice fishing, I drill 2 holes as close together as possible without touching (an inch or two apart) and I put the camera (in horizontal setup, not vertical) in one hole and my bait in the other. From there you have to twist the camera cord until you see your bait, this may be difficult to do in murky water so if thats the case use a larger or easier to see bait. Once you get the bait centered on the screen I find it easiest to set the camera right on the bottom, I didn’t think the footage would be good like that but it really is. However in cases like this video where the fish aren’t on the bottom or there’s a lot of weeds, you need to suspend the camera and this takes a good bit of time to get it to hang just right with your bait in the center of screen but it is possible (as proof of this vid).Overall this product is great for what I paid. The battery life is awesome, I used it for 4 hours straight and it was still well above 50%. I wish the camera filmed in 1080p but 720p is still good. I put my 32 GB SD card (that I usually use for my gopro) in place of the 8 GB one they give, that way I never have to worry about recording too much. The settings, features and setups can be a little confusing so make sure to read the instructions and don’t worry if you struggle like me the first few times. This product has made ice fishing about 100x more enjoyable for me and I love making videos with it. Would highly recommend.

Fun Fun Fun…..take fishing to a whole new level!
First off the camera is very simple to run and picture quality is good, only draw backs I seen with the product is that the camera cord is built to come out of the back which hangs the camera vertically if you use “as is”. I ended up using 3 zip ties and looped it to the top mounts so it would hang horizontal. The other “drawback” is that some fish like to attack this camera which is fun as you can see by my clip when the camera shakes or spins. I am now ordering the tripod to fit above the ice hole and hold the cable because it is very difficult to line it up perfect on your bait as the cable has “life or coil” in it which causes it to not want to micro adjust with it just laying on the ice. I would suggest using this in an ice house where its dark for best results because its hard to see the screen outside with sun which is with any screen (example: phone) . I have only used this on a couple outings but I wanted to share some footage I took of some Pike while ice fishing in Montana. Its neat to see what those fish are doing down there and how they take or not take your bait. Hope you enjoy the clips and would suggest you get one of these for yourself and start the fun. Once you get several clips recorded you can use another program to put them together and share on whatever media you want. Also on another note: This is recorded in about 15 feet of water and can see fish out to 10 feet which is great for me.

Bought this camera specifically for lake trout fishing up in northern manitoba after someone had mentioned the quality of it on a fishing forum. Let me start by saying WOW. The image quality and clarity I get with this camera down on 80-90ft of water is impressive, especially for the price. I had people with the aquavu HD10 camera day that this one was better than theirs. Infared works good too except when it gets really dark then all the particles light up and makes it harder to see but that’s with all cameras. Had one small issue with the camera and customer service dealt with it ASAP sending me a replacement part immediately. Very impressed with customer service.

The camera works very well and produces some great video. I really like the size of the screen. The battery has lasted very well while we’ve been using it icefishing. The infrared light has allowed for some great night videos. We added a device to anchor the camera as it tends to spin as it spools out/down into the water.

I have used this 4 times already this winter at depths of up to 30 feet. Picture was great in clear water and good in semi clear water. Will have to change out the micro SD card to something much larger. Video records in blocks of two minutes which can be tedious to edit. A fully charged battery can last up to 7hrs. I appreciate the 9″ screen. Overall, for the price you pay, this is a great product.

I used this for one season and it worked great. Next season I couldn’t turn it on and they told me I need a new battery pack. If I have to buy a new battery pack every year then I regret buying this and wouldn’t recommend it.
