UPS for Wall Warts
Works great on my driveway alarm receiver. Now I don’t have to reset the clock on the receiver every time the power blinks and the driveway alarm will continue working during a power outage. Setup couldn’t be any simpler – just replace the USB A wall wart with this unit.

Doesn’t handle current spikes very well
It works, but struggles with current spikes despite saying it can handle 2A. I tried to power an Orange Pi Zero w/a 2.5″ external USB drive, and the drive refuses to spin up. The same setup works fine with an old USB power adapter that is only rated for 1.25A. For a USB device that has a fairly consistent and low current draw, this UPS might work fine, but for anything with a transient spike (like a small HD spinning up) it seems to fail.

This mini UPS will power a pet water fountain & several other devices if the power goes out!
I love this item! I purchased 3 of them in order to power my cat’s water fountains when the power goes out. & they work! I love the fact that they will automatically switch over when the power goes out in order to continue powering the device that its plugged into, unlike most cell phone power banks, which some of those have to be powered on, & they’ll shut off if they get too hot. I had found & purchased a few different power banks, but unfortunateley none of those could keep my cat’s water fountain motors going past a few seconds except one. But I prefer using this ups. My power banks will not go to waste though, I have multiple devices that they are compatable with. When I discovered this mini ups, I’d almost lost all hope that I was going to figure out what I could use in order to keep my cat’s water fountains going if the power goes out. I’m sure how long this mini ups will power your device though. I have not had the power go out, & stay out for hours, or for a day, to test them. I’m just really relieved that they work as needed!

An excellent solution when you are looking for a battery backup for a USB powered device. It has very good reserve capacity. It is much simpler and less costly than using a large bulky UPS with a cord and more outlets than you need. It is about the size of a deck of cards. The rechargeable battery is replaceable if that is ever an issue.

Works well. Plugged in unit to AC and connected 200 mA load to unit. After allowing time for the unit to charge fully, unplugged unit from AC. Connected load was still operational after12 hours without interruption.
