This dog GPS tracker is a great investment. It feels study and the app is pretty easy to figure out. It works well providing accurate and frequent location updates making it easy to find my doggo whenever needed. Highly recommended for a peace of mind.

Finally, a tracker that actually bloomin’ works!
After wasting a right few quid on several other collars, trying to dodge a subscription, I finally gave in — and I’m chuffed I did. The others had absolutely rubbish apps that made them useless. This app, however, is spot-on and totally reliable. Best bit? It works a treat even when you’re nowhere near your home Wi-Fi or your phone’s Bluetooth. I took my dog to a massive open area over the holidays, a good thousand miles from home, and located him straight away with the live tracking. What a relief!I really like the location history — I can see exactly where he wandered off to and how long he lingered. But the sound feature? That’s a proper game-changer! After a bit of training, a quick beep now brings him sprinting back. The real magic, though, is the proper GPS.The device itself isn’t pricey at all and it’s fully waterproof. Yes, there’s an annual subscription, but if you want proper peace of mind and a tool that actually does the job, it’s worth every penny. This is the one that’s finally got it sorted.

Not for my area, and a lot of features not useable.
I really needed this device to work. Does it work, well yes…and no.When I first got it and charged it up for 4 hours according to the instructions, it connected and worked with my phone with ease. So I bought a month of service and it immediately stopped connecting.I took this device on walks over a 50 square mile area of my place and it never connected again. I have tried factory resets and everything to no avail.I took the sim card out and stuck it in my phone and it connected and received a great signal, it should have worked! Eventually I took the tracker with me and drove 30 miles and at some point it connected to some tower, probably an ATT tower since I have Verizon practically next door to me. While it was connected I checked it out on the Anytracking app and set the settings and all looked quite well.On return to my place, the tracker was still connected and showing to have a great signal to both GPS and cell towers, then at 10:00 pm at night it turned itself off scaring my dog half to death in the process, and the next day when I turned it back on, it never connected.Again I drove a long ways away until it connected to a cell tower and came home, same thing, great signal, and it worked fine until it turns off and will not reconnect on its own.I do not know if my issue is a problem with the distance to ATT towers, or if this is supposed to work on Verizon too. I think it should since the signal strength is great.As of now, I have not been able to get any use out of it as it simply will not connect when it is turned on the next day.I have even tried to stop it turning itself off every night at 10:00 pm, but so far it does not seem to respect the command when I take it to set it up when it is connected.Sometimes it even blares out the time and scares my dog.This tracker does actually work, as long as you are close to an ATT tower as best I can tell. You have to enable some filters or it will show your dog some 30 miles away from where they actually are. As I have not used another tracker, this may be common.There are some very bad things I must make mention of.The provided instructions are between very poorly translated to non existent. To apply this tracker you must take apart the magnetic tool cover and then work it until you hear a click in the corner of the device on each side to pull the pins out. With the cover on it will not work.To get the details and phone number of the sim card you will have to remove it and put it in a compatible phone in order to try and enable certain features in the Anytracking app.Worst case scenario the device does not connect and the instructions in the Anytracking app FAQ are anything but simple. I have not successfully managed to get any of it to work yet.TO get and install the app you will have to agree to a couple of screens that are not translated into english. Some of the features are not intuitive. The calling and monitoring features I cannot use at all as the phone number of the sim card is Chinese and I got flagged by Verizon for trying to connect to it.To purchase a service plan you have to connect to a very suspicious looking site, but as far as I can tell it is used by many IoT and tracking devices like this.I need to prevent automatic billing for the monthly service since this device is currently useless in my area and I have not found a way to do so yet.I hate to give it such a bad review, because the device has great potential if you can get it to connect.
