Durable And RELIABLE After 18 Months Of Use!
I have been using these “Anmone Magnetic Charging Cables” since their purchase 1+1/2 years ago and I couldn’t be more satisfied! They’ve been 100% reliable in their connectivity, regardless of how much their ends are “swiveled” during use (and I DO, occasionally, use my phone during charging).Their magnetic hold is POWERFUL! — My smartphone weighs 3/4 of a pound (9 ounces / 1/4 kilogram) and the magnetism of their tips (both the plug-in adapter and that of the cord) are strong enough to suspend the phone by the cord and even swing/jiggle it in mid-air without detaching!When the cords are connected to an active USB power source, their tips illuminate with a blue LED, making them really easy to locate/reach for in the dark. Then, just move the lighted cord-tip close to its mate in the device’s port and SNAP! .. It’s Attached And Charging! The charging speed is quite respectable .. they charge MY phone just about as quickly as with its dedicated cord👍CONS: These magnetic charging cords/connectors will NOT allow data-transfer. Thus, if you ever do that, you will either have to:1- Remove the magnetic connector from your device in order to use a standard cord (OR)2– Purchase one of the magnetic cord-sets available that CAN perform transfer of files/data. THOSE type can be recognized by a circular, 4-ring “bullseye” pattern of contacts on the adapter tip and multiple tiny contacts on the cord-ends to mesh with them (see 3rd photo).ALSO, if your device has a protective case, be certain that it is soft enough for it to be CUT a bit (as, you *might* have to shave a bit off around its cable-port opening, in order to accommodate the little circular magnetic adapter)None of my four cords have failed in any way yet over these 18 months but, if they ever do ..I WILL Buy These AGAIN! 😃

We bought these for my son because he would damage cords ripping them out of his electorics. These seem to work pretty well although they can be a little touchy sometimes to stay charging.

Not as good as I had hoped.
Originally I gave this five stars but after using it for a while I am changing it to three. I got this because I have to charge my phone once in the middle of the day and once overnight. I also charge my earbuds every three days. I found that having to constantly wrap my regular charging cord to bring with me made the cords break faster so figured that this would be more convenient between home and work.Here is what I notice:My earbud case does not hold the charge with this cord/magnet combo as long as it does with a regular charging cord.My phone does not charge consistently. If I connect the magnet to the cord it says charging, but if I have to move my phone at all while charging it tells me to check my charging accessory because it isn’t connected any longer. I have to then disconnect and reconnect the cord to get it to charge again. It also only slow charges with is super inconvenient as well.So the convenience of having the hinged connector is outweighed by the weak connection and weaker charges. Definitely not something I would buy again.

This is a lot like wireless charging, except it works and doesn’t waste electricity trying to induce what should connect.The stubs for the device end are absolutely brilliant. No more wear and tear on your phone port, ever. No more dirt in it. No more propping your phone at just the right angle to make it connect. Just get it close and *click* you’re charging.The cables themselves are also excellent, with a nice sturdy 180° hinge at the device end, and since the magnetic connectors can also twist on each face, you get a full half sphere of motion without any stress on the port and without any spotty connections. If you forget you’re connected and pull away, the magnets just pops apart, no damage done.By far the biggest advantage is that once you put an apple stub in your wife’s phone, and a USB-C in your android, and a micro-USB in your rechargeable flashlight, and another USB-C in your battery pack, and so on, everything can charge with the same cables. One cable in the car. One in the livingroom, one each to carry. And so on. My blood pressure monitor runs on it. Our closet puck lights charge on it. Our electric spark lighter charges on it. None of those things will ever have any wear on their ports, and all of them use the same cables regardless of their type.I can’t imagine a better solution. Some also handle data, but I have home wifi for that. This is the simplest, most effective, most efficient, most flexible, longest-lasting, device-saving, bestest charging system ever. Ever.
