Easy to install
I just installed this (50yr female with some decent DIY skills). It was pretty easy to do, all you need is a screwdriver. Took maybe twenty minutes to take the old lock off and put this one on. App seems easy to use and the lock is functioning smoothly. You can set it to lock automatically if you want and it gives you a time range that you can pick from. So auto lock at 15 seconds or two minutes. I did find it would extend the lock if I left the door open for a long period of time so that is something to be aware of. I like the fact that it’s very easy to program different codes, and you have the option to go back and see those codes in case you forget! You can set any particular code for specific days, specific time frames, or a period of days, or always. It has fingerprint ID plus two keys just in case. This makes it super easy to give dog walkers, housekeepers, or repairmen codes and limit their access. For instance my regular dog walker has access always, but the code for the alternative walker is only Monday-Friday 11am to 3pm. The lock will let you unlock it from far away too. So if the housekeeper arrives 30minutes before her allowed time, you could unlock the door while at work or even reset the timeframe for her. Liked the price too for a lock with wifi. Takes eight batteries which is kind of a lot, but since it does connect to the wifi and not just Bluetooth, I can see why it does. The only thing I wish this had is automatic unlocking when the phone comes within a few feet of the door. If I have problems I’ll update the review but so far, so good.

Good price, good quality, easy to install. Way better than the unit I had before it (Ultraloq).
Easy to install to replace the Utec/Ultraloq, which had crapped out after less than one year of operation.The Phillips unit is far superior, as it has a decent phone app and can also work with our Alexa. It also has built-in WiFi so we can scrap the bridge that the Ultraloq required.This new unit has a smooth operation, provides a great record of who locked/unlocked the door via the keypad. WE can assigne numbers to each family member or others who might come and go. This can be done on a one-time basis, for a given period of time, etc etc. And it can all be done form the phone, regardless of our location.Being able to secure your home is a critical function … don’t take a chance!I discourage anyone from buying the Ultraloq unit. It was sketchy to begin with (the thumbprint scanner seldom worked) and last week it would not respond to the keypad. I contacted customer service, as I was an original buyer of 2 units during a crowd-raise. One was installed 5 years ago, and the other I kept until last year for a new install. It didn’t last 12 months. After several days of trying different fixes, their customer service offered me a replacement at list less 30%, which if you shop around is available to everyone. So not exactly bending over backward.The Phillips unit was marginally more money than the crappier Ultrloq (even after their discount), so I went with it. I hope it lasts longer … and so far so good. The thumb scanner etc, works great.

Great lock
This lock is great! I have it on an outside door that has no storm door and no shelter. I live in NY and it gets really cold. This is working great still. I also have the Yale lock and I like this one better. It was easy to install, easy to use. I love the different locking options. 10/10 recommend

Great door lock
Took about five minutes to install. App has a good layout and can upload codes and fingerprints easily. Only downside would re-keying (this is for any door lock). Is complicated or have to pay a locksmith to do it for you.
