great product, fair price
Bought three of these units for the house and they work perfectly. No problem with wifi connectivity, easy to install. I had the first one up in about 30 minutes. 180 Degree coverage is exactly as advertised. Lights are bright, no latency on recording, and there is a wide range of features to suit everyone’s needs. I now have every inch of my property covered. I like the feature that allows me to determine where I want alerts in the yard. Also like that I can disable vehicle alerts for back and side yard, allowing me to use that for garage and front of the house. Great price, super value for the money.

Best $$ I’ve Spent – Took Me 30 Minutes to Install!
Honestly, I was a little nervous about installing this myself, but WOW, it was so much easier than I thought! Replaced my old floodlight in literally 30 minutes and I’m not even handy. The mounting holes lined up perfectly with where my old light was, so I didn’t have to drill anything new. Just turned off the breaker, unscrewed the old light, connected three wires (same colors as before), and screwed this baby in. The hardest part was getting up the ladder lol. Even the app setup was super easy – just scan a QR code and you’re good to go.Now for the cool part – that 180-degree camera is AMAZING. I can see my entire driveway and front yard, no blind spots at all. My old light just sat there doing nothing, but now I get alerts on my phone when someone comes by, and I can check the camera anytime. The light itself is way brighter than my old one too.One minor thing – it does have a voice announcement when it powers up that’s a bit loud, but honestly it’s not a big deal since it only happens once during setup or if the power goes out. Doesn’t bother me at all.I was going to hire someone to install it and they quoted me like $200 for labor. So glad I did it myself and saved that money. If I can do this, trust me, anyone can.Totally worth it. Should’ve upgraded years ago!

REOLINKs Light Alert software is buggy
I have been a reolink fan since 2019 and I’ve upgrading my system from that time. The wifi floodlight cameras have always been something I wanting because they are in areas I can not run a POE cable. The camera overall is great but the software is buggy in an NVR. REOLINK please fix the smart mode and always on at night feature. I want the light to come on via motion but go off and the camera has the feature called ” light alert’ which is suppose to do that but it sometime does and sometimes does not. Smart mode keeps the light on all night and turning the light off seems to disable light alert all together. I just want the light to be in infrared mode and the light off but when motion is detected go to color mode and turn the light on. Is that so much to ask. Ring does it I know reolink can do it too!! Other than that bug the camera has wonderful resolution and a 180 degree view. Its basically two cameras in one.

Garbage.
This floodlight deserve zero stars. This is the biggest garbage that I bought. They stand of settings, but nothing works on same settings they will trigger on mosquito and other day they don’t see even car going through. no matter what you do in the setting this motion detection don’t won’t work at all. Different story is decent quality picture. I would definitely not recommend this to anybody to even bigger Enemies.

Great Quality Video and Bright Spotlights – VERY Wide Field of View
This camera works great! The picture quality is extremely good (assuming you have a good Wi-Fi connection). It has a VERY WIDE field of view! 180 degrees – So keep that in mind. It’s great for above a door or at a corner as it captures very wide angles, but if you’re mounting up high to trying to capture something far away it won’t work great for that.Setup was very easy and the connection seems stable. I can view the camera very quickly from my phone or computer using the REOLINK apps on each. The phone app works from anywhere (remotely) as long as the camera is online and has a solid internet connection. The apps have a decent amount of options, but are missing a few things that would make it even better (custom zones would be nice, as would a “default zoom” if you don’t need true full 180 deg). The flood lights are extremely bright, but you can configure them to tone down the brightness and color tempature (white vs “warm” yellowish). It has 3 different “smart” detections built in: Person, Vehicle, or just Motion. These actually work pretty well. The phone app will notify you of each detection type (ex: “Person detected by Backdoor camera”) and the notification happen very quickly. Usually within a few seconds of the activity.

Great camera, terrible light control
First the good: the camera function in daylight is excellent – the image is beautiful with sufficient light and the stitching across the two lenses is surprisingly seamless. Now the not-so-good: The lighting control is totally inadequate and has made me regret this purchase. At night the image is great as long as the integrated lights are enabled. But if you don’t want a light on all night long, the image quality is very dim. The IR lights don’t seem to come on even though they are set to auto. Maybe this will be addressed in a later firmware. The worst surprise: When motion is detected and the lights are enabled, the lights start flashing on and off like a slow strobe light. It’s a terrible feature that needs to be able to be disabled. All I want is for the lights to turn on when motion is detected like a simple motion activated light, and then turn off some number of seconds later, but this is not possible, at least with the current firmware. Since this is feature is so annoying I’m just stuck keeping the light disabled entirely. There are some sliders to change the sensitivity of the motion detection, but nothing to change the behavior of how the lights react to motion. Until this is fixed, I have to leave the lights totally disabled which is unfortunate.

I’ve been very happy with the Reolink Elite Floodlight WiFi so far. The video quality is excellent — the wide 180° view covers my driveway and front yard in one shot, and the floodlight is very bright, more than enough to light up the area at night. Motion detection has been reliable, and I really appreciate that there’s no monthly subscription and I can use local storage.Setup was fairly easy, and the app gives you lots of control over detection zones, alerts, and light behavior. It feels like a solid, well-built product overall.Overall, this is a great option if you want a powerful floodlight camera with excellent coverage and no ongoing fees.

Incredible lighting and video capturing. Early into the usage, being 1 week but the customization has been great. Will continue to report over the course of the winter months to see how it fairs in the Canadian Cold.

180 degrees view, its awesome floodlight security cam! Easy to install and operate.

Great floodlight and camera. Resolution is awesome on the camera. And the lights are very bright. You’re able to change the ‘warmth’ of the light to adjust your preferences of what type of light you are wanting. Able to have up to a 512 gb micro sd card to locally record. No subscription needed to access your device and view recordings. A nice feature is on the app it will show you is the movement a person, vehicle or animal that triggered the alert, even before you click on the video.I has all sorts of great features like push notifications, zones and smart detection. You can set it up to either alert you when an object is detected, or alert with an image to quickly see what is in range. You can also adjust the sensitivity of the alerts and also choose min/max sizes to be alerted of.Install was very easy, gave you all the basic tools minus the screwdriver to attach, but has all the screws and connectors you may need. The baseplate has a built in level which makes mounting the light level so easy. Also has a notch which allows the light to hang by a loop attached to the light such that yore not having to juggle things as you’re wiring things up.Be sure to follow instructions, it tells you to connect the system via USB C and add it to your Reolink system before mounting it. You could probably do this after, but always nice to make sure it works prior to install.1 less star only because at night, the IR night vision will go off for about 1 second before the flood light goes on, so you have a momentary black screen where you can’t see anything. Not major but just a minor inconvenience.Strongly recommend this system to replace all of a person’s floodlights for a great camera/light combo!
