Product description

Converts RCA to RF Coax: This TV RF modulator converts the video/audio output of an RCA-compatible device into a frequency that can be assigned to channel 3 or 4, and is compatible with your TV’s cable input. Note: It does not work in reverse (doesn’t convert RF to RCA).
RF Coaxial Cable Modulator: Our RF coax modulator supports channel 3 and channel 4 in NTSC. The package includes a converter box for TV, a power supply, and an RCA/composite A/V cable.
Simple Setup: Just connect the RCA input, move the switch to the desired channel, connect the coaxial output from the modulator to the TV, and connect the power supply.
Strong Construction: This digital modulator for RCA to coax features a compact design that is portable, lightweight, and made to last.
Compatibility: Our RCA-to-coax converter is compatible with a wide range of devices, including VCR, Blu-ray and DVD players, satellite and cable boxes, TVs, cameras, and retro gaming consoles.

Works for old CRTs
Worked for me to run a dvd player into a small old CRT tv where the composite was broken. Ran this into the coaxial in the back of tv for the dvd player

Easy to use and works right away.
This modulator was well packed and came with everything pictured in the listing. I used it for playing DVDs on my analog T.V. which worked instantly. While there was no instruction book included, it was easy to figure out. It converts audio and video signal very well.

Works with Roku
Works well. Was able to connect an old Roku LT 2700X to it and then using an antenna cable to the 5” CRT TV I had. Able to watch Roku live channels on the TV now.In the photo you can see NYC Mayor Elect Zohran Mamdani giving a speech.

Dead Stick – Doesn’t Work and Doesn’t tell you even that
Dead Stick is like a rudderless/engineless ship at see. That was my experience. I followed logic (as there are no instructions) and hooked it up. Nothing. I then crawled under my house to see if there was a cable issue. Nothing. I moved it to another TV. Nothing. Finally, it dawned on me that maybe it wasn’t getting power. Sure enough, the power supply was fried…no power at all. So, i reached into my bag of tricks and found a transformer with he correct voltage and connect, and tested it to make that it worked. Great. I plugged it in, and ….Nothing. I’m fairly certain i lugged it in correctly (I followed the picture and referred to instructions provided for other manufacturer’s model). The unit has no lights, so i don’t know if the until is as fried as the transformer or why it doesn’t work. I’m just Dead Stick. Fortunately, necessity being the mother of invention, I realized that an old VCR or DVD player (or in my case, admittedly, my current VCR), can be used by hooking up the VCR to receive the RCA inputs from the TV and then hoking the COAX between location A and TV-B to the OUT connection on the VCR. Plug the other end of the Coax into TV-B’s IN connector, turn to channel 3, and you’re all good. Just don’t let it get around that I still have a VCR. The VCR is bigger and uses more power, but it works, and is just collecting dust or filling a landfill otherwise, so give it a shot and save yourself some headache.

perfect for the price range
This thing kicks ass, I didn’t think it would be remotely decent for how cheap it is, but I was pleasantly surprised. Came in handy when the only working crt I still have isn’t modern enough to have its own rca ports. I honestly can’t tell that much of a difference in quality compared to if it was just running straight through without any adapters. 10/10, reliving childhood perfectly. Never thought I’d be able to enjoy my old consoles and tapes again without it looking like some genre of garbage.if it looks bad or wrong, its nothing that cant be fixed by adjusting the color/picture balance on your tv. It took about a half hour of tweaking for me, but the tv i had was at weird settings to begin with anyway. Some other reviews said there was interference issues but I’ve had no such thing yet since buying and I’ve been using the thing every day now with no issue. There might be more expensive, “better” hardware out there for this but I don’t think it would be that noticeably better or different.(phone/lighting quality sucks I promise it looks FAR better in person)

Great for CRT retro gaming!
Great for CRT retro gaming! I have a CRT that is RF only input and connecting old consoles with RF looked wavy and poor. By using this, as an in between with AV connections from the retro consoles they now look awesome.

Good item, Only one bad flaw.
Works and is about as good as you’d expect it to be for the price. Only problem I have is sometimes the picture begins to blur and it complete turns to static till you switch the channel between 3 and 4 a couple of times. However, given the price paid for it it doesn’t surprise me that much. Still a good product. Does what it says it’ll do and a good enough peice that if you’re in a pinch or don’t have enough money at the moment, this’ll work just fine.

The RF modular was exactly what I needed to convert the signal from the satellite digital receiver’s RCA outlet terminals to a coaxial cable outlet. No problems have occurred with the new system and picture quality is excellent.

I bought this after having a frustrating experience with two cheaper units. Save yourself the aggravation and buy this unit. It worked flawlessly for me right out of the box.Has been working great for over 3 months so far.

Very easy to set up. This replaced my defective one from another brand. The resolution is much more better also. A little expensive but does the job and hoping it will last.
