Take creative control of your images with the Tilta Pocket Follow Focus
This new upgraded version of the Mini Follow Focus mounts via a single 15mm rod and is compatible with lens gears of various sizes. Constructed with a new composite material that greatly improves the mechanics of the system while remaining lightweight and compact, the Pocket Follow Focus is an affordable solution for focus pulling with DSLR, mirrorless, or compact cinema lenses.
The interchangeable gears allow you to use lenses with different sized focus ring gears and the kit includes a 0.8mm pitched gear which will be compatible with most cinema lenses or the included Photographic Lens Follow Focus Gear Ring.
The unit supports 360 degrees of rotation and features a new quick release hard stop system that allows you to set a limited range in order to quickly pull focus between two specific distances. The locking system then allows you to engage or disengage the hard stop limits without needing to remove them and losing their position.
The focus wheel features a fluid damping system that mimics the feel of the lens itself and helps with precise focusing. The magnetic marking discs can be used to mark different focus distances and can be easily swapped as needed.

Great Focus knob for small camera build
I needed a compact follow focus to use with my BMD Micro Studio 4K G2 rig build and this Tilta model seemed to meet all my requirements. When it arrived I was very impressed with the case that was included as I was not expecting one. It holds all of the parts firmly in place and provides great protection and easy storage for the parts. Upon removing the focus knob from the case I was impressed with the overall build quality. It was the perfect size for my cage rig and slid right onto the 15mm side rod with ease. The mount is easy to lock down and holds the gear firmly against the lens without slipping. The focus gear is a perfect fit for my Meike MFT Cine Prime lenses and provides very smooth focus adjustment. The stops on the knob are perfect for setting the outer bounds of the focus range. And because of its compact size the focus knob is easy to access without being bulky and getting in the way of other accessories.

Great Option!
Great product! Highly recommend to also buy the seamless focus gear ring, the one that’s included works with any lens but it’s just clunky.. otherwise everything feels premium!

Very Impressively Smooth and Precise
Very impressive. Smooth as glass. The design of the focus mark stops is quite good. The gear ratio is reasonably good, enabling far more precision than grabbing the lens. I would like to have the option of a smaller gear to shift the ratio even higher. I tried the Nitz FF, but found the Tilta better. Recommended.

A Solid, Reliable Focus Solution
This is my trusty backup focus system. I prefer the Tilta Nano 2 for the remote operation, but you can’t beat the simple reliability of this well-built, well-designed focus system. It’s also priced really well. It’s easy to install and easy to use. If reliability is important to you, this is for you.
