600VA/300W/120V Battery Backup for PCs and Retail Point-of-Sale Applications
Eaton’s Tripp Lite series cloud-connected UPS systems are manageable, scalable and flexible solutions for battery backup, surge protection and cloud-based remote monitoring. Whether a deployment includes a single UPS or an entire fleet, remote management using a mobile app or web browser saves the time, hassle and expense of frequent on-site visits. From home networks to retail kiosks, Tripp Lite series cloud-connected UPS systems enable uninterrupted operation for a wide range of devices in diverse environments. The BC600RNC standby UPS system provides reliable battery backup and AC power protection against blackouts, brownouts, overvoltages, surges and line noise for home/office computing, networking and point-of-sale equipment in retail, kiosks, food service and light industrial environments. It’s easy to set up in minutes. Just plug the BC600RNC into a properly grounded wall outlet, press the power button and connect equipment to the UPS outlets. For easy access, the input power cable, Ethernet port, AC outlets, power button and status LEDs are all on the same side.
Easy-to-Use Cloud-Enabled Remote Monitoring Powered by Brightlayer
Connect the UPS to a network with an Ethernet cable. Built-in cloud connectivity removes the need for additional hardware, saving space and equipment costs. Scan the QR code on the UPS to download the remote monitoring app on a mobile device. Set up an account and scan the QR code to seamlessly add the UPS to your account. For access on a desktop computer, use the provided web address. Eaton’s cloud-based remote monitoring dashboard offers convenient setup, control and management of a single UPS or a larger deployment. Receive alerts, push configurations, silence alarms or control outlet banks using a mobile app or web browser. Accessible via mobile device or desktop computer web browser, the simple color-coded dashboard provides a quick visual indication of device status: alerts (red), warnings (yellow) or normal operation (green). Alerts can be sent to a mobile device, providing early awareness of issues that can cause downtime. Configure network settings using the mobile app, tap the NFC (near-field communication) area on the UPS with your mobile device and push your custom settings to the UPS. Configure once and push settings to as many UPS systems as needed.
Allows Time to Back Up Critical Files During a Blackout
During short blackouts and brownouts, the BC600RNC switches to battery power to keep connected equipment running. This allows you enough time to save data and complete a safe shutdown in case of a longer outage. Incoming utility power keeps the user-replaceable VRLA battery fully charged, so backup power is always available. The BC600RNC restarts automatically once power is restored, regardless of battery charge level, saving you a costly site visit.
Premium Protection from Surges and Line Noise Helps Your Equipment Perform Better
Rated for 190 joules of surge suppression, the BC600RNC and its four NEMA 5-15R outlets protect connected devices from the harmful effects of power surges. The BC600RNC also filters out disruptive electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) that can destroy data and contribute to lengthy downtime.
Easy Preventative Maintenance and Initial Troubleshooting
The BC600RNC’s self-test capability and user-replaceable internal battery can extend the life of the UPS and minimize disruption to operations. A resettable circuit breaker helps prevent dangerous system overloads.
Audible Alarm and Diagnostic LEDs Keep You Informed 24/7
An audible alarm and a red LED indicate a low battery or fault condition. A green LED indicates power and line/battery mode status.
Hardened Housing Compatible with Versatile Deployment Options
The low-profile housing allows use in locations with uncontrolled temperature or humidity (operating temperature range: 32° to 122° F / 0° to 50° C). The BC600RNC’s small size is suitable for desktop or floor placement. Secure mounting points on the bottom enable horizontal or vertical mounting and are spaced in a 100 x 100 mm VESA pattern for mounting to the back of a monitor with the included hardware. Attachment points allow installation on a shelf or beam with user-supplied cable ties. The five-foot power cord with NEMA 5-15P plug connects to any compatible AC outlet.
600VA MINI UPS: 300W uninterruptible power supply provides 4-outlets of low-maintenance battery backup and surge protection. Restarts automatically once power is restored, regardless of battery charge level. Features 190 joules of surge protection.
ONLINE CLOUD-CONNECTED UPS: Monitor your tech from anywhere. Network Battery Backup lets you receive alerts through email or text, silence alarms, restart the UPS, and view outlet banks through web browser or Eaton’s free Brightlayer app.
SIMPLE SETUP WITH MASS UPS CONFIGURATION: Simply plug the UPS into a grounded wall outlet, press the power button and connect devices. Scanning the QR code on the UPS easily adds the device to Eaton’s Brightlayer app. Mass configure UPS by transfering custom network settings using NFC from your mobile device.
USER-FRIENDLY DESIGN: Internal battery is easy replaceable with Eaton’s AG-0760 cartridge. UPS filters out disruptive EMI/ RFI disturbances that can cause hardware damage. A resettable circuit breaker helps prevent dangerous system overloads.
COMPATIBLE DEVICES: Small size is perfect as a computer UPS, router UPS, Wifi UPS, home UPS, basics UPS, office UPS, retail UPS, security camera UPS, and much more. Bottom Keyhole mounting slots are in a 100 x 100 mm VESA pattern for easy wall mounting.

Perfect for powering an ONT, router, or Ethernet switch
Good product. Small size and easy wall mounting. I used it to power my indoor AT&T Fiber Internet ONT. Unit fails over (when pulling the AC plug) with no disruption at all.

Easy setup, works well, battery & surge on all outlets
This item was easy to setup and install and is working perfectly with no issues on my new computer and monitor. It replaced a previous UPS by a different manufacturer that lasted 8 1/2 years (way beyond its warranty period and battery lifespan). The new one has greater power capacity than the previous unit, and all of its outlets provide battery and surge protection whereas the previous unit only supported both services on a couple of its outlets. The new unit uses a sealed lead-acid battery just like the old one. I had hoped to get a lithium ferrous phosphate unit as those have much longer battery life spans, but the prices for them were higher than I was willing to pay.

Fits in relatively small enclosures
Has been working strong in a vented enclosure for a PTmP system powering cameras. Have about 3 of these installed with no issues. Size/Power ratio is nice!

Small form factor backup power!
Arrived with very protective packaging. Unit is nice and compact. Only tested it briefly, and it works as expected

Expensive for what it is but it works well for my use
Expensive for what it is. This is a smaller unit and it cost almost as much as some of the beefier APC batteries on sale. BUT I needed something I could easily mount on the wall and support a single small 8 port POE switch. It is light and I think it should support that switch for 5 hrs. or more. The first unit came in and the reset button was crushed and fell back into the UPS. 2nd one has something small rattling around. I am sure it is a small piece of plastic. But it work fine.It only supports 3 plugins so if you need to support a couple of smaller items during brownouts, this is a good choice, but like I said, I bought an APC 950va for $124 on sale. But much heavier to mount on a wall. All 3 ports are surge and battery. Nothing that is just surge.

I really like this form factor!
The time had come to replace my 20+ year old APC UPSs. They’ve all been through multiple battery replacements and still functioned wonderfully. However, one of them recently died in horrific fashion and I began to think that they’ve served me well, I should just retire them and replace.I purchased two of these Tripp Lite units. One for some of my lightweight communications equipment – cable modem, mesh wifi node, and Ooma base station. The other I’m going to install in my bedroom for the TV, Roku box, and Tivo Box. Again, all lightweight equipment. I primarily need the UPS for the surge protection and to give me enough time to go outside and fire up the portable generator if it looks like it will be a lengthy outage. If the battery runs out, so be it – this is not critical equipment that always needs to be powered.I plugged both in, and let them charge overnight. I installed the first one, connected the devices, pulled the power cord from the outlet, and everything kept going without missing a beat. Couldn’t ask for more at this point.Update 12/10/2025: While the sale was still on, I purchased two more.

Works as expected
Fit my structured wiring closet to power my fiber modem and router.I haven’t had a prolonged outage, but it has kept my network running for brief power flickers.

Tripplite – Total trash
This is a piece of trash. Avoid. No UPS is better than this piece of junk.
