Can the adapter be used for a hair dryer?

It depends on the type of hair dryer you are using. In short, only hair dryers labeled with specifications like “100-240V, 50/60Hz” and with a power rating of less than 2000W can be used in countries with 220-240V power supply, such as in Europe.

The AC outlet of the adapter wouldn’t work anymore, how to process it?

This is likely due to a blown fuse. You can pry open the compartment at the bottom of the adapter (labeled as “SPARE & FUSE”) and replace the fuse. If it still doesn’t work, please email Epicka for further assistance.

Can I charge my laptop in Europe through the Epicka adapter? Does it need a converter?

Yes, most laptops support dual voltage (with “100-240V, 50/60Hz” printed on it). You can use our Epicka adapter to charge your laptop without the need for a voltage converter even in a country with 220-240V power apply.

Planning trips to South Africa & India, but TA-105 adapter doesn’t fit. Does EPICKA have adapters for these countries?

Yes, we have a new adapter model X232 that is suitable for South Africa and India. Please search “EPICKA X232 adapter” on Amazon and choose Type D for India and Type M for South Africa.

How can I purchase additional fuses?

You can search for “EPICKA Replacement Fuse” on Amazon to purchase extra fuses. Please ensure that you’re selecting Epicka’s 10A fuses, as fuses with incorrect specifications might not be compatible with the product.

So Good It Got Stolen — Solid, Premium Travel Adapter
I bought this EPICKA universal travel adapter for my own trips, but it ended up getting “stolen” by my girlfriend because it was just too good to use—and I don’t blame her. From the moment I picked it up, it felt solid and well-made. The materials feel smooth, sturdy, and genuinely premium, not cheap or flimsy like some other travel adapters I’ve tried.Performance-wise, it does exactly what it promises. I’ve used it in Hong Kong, the UK, and the US, and it fit securely in all outlets with no looseness or issues. It feels safe and intact when plugged in, which is something I really care about when charging expensive electronics while traveling. For the price, the quality really stands out. It’s compact, reliable, and clearly designed with travelers in mind. If I ever need another one (especially after losing this one to my girlfriend), I would definitely buy it again. Highly recommended for anyone who travels internationally.

    Europe trip must-have
Used for a multi week trip to Europe, mostly in Poland and it was perfect.Packs up so easily and works exactly as intended, so convenient! Love the multiple USB plugs built into it, so perfect and useful. Will be keeping this for all future Europe trips!!I also took a travel cord to plug into it (Travel Power Strip, SUPERDANNY 5ft Retractable Extension Cord https://a.co/d/dXDjalP) and together that made charging work and personal devices so easy.Incidentally, for travel advice, the Trtl cool-style travel pillow and the Firefly portable recovery device were awesome for the long flights.

Well built, flexible, power, adapter. Good traveling companion.
Really well thought out product. Works with most overseas electrical outlets. Has a clever mechanism for extending and retracting plug contacts. As a pass-through, you can plug an appliance into the front, plug it into the wall in the back, and tap into the adapter with up to 4 USB and one USB-C cables.Be aware the pass-through power is limited to about 1000 watts @120v. That will probably support a laptop or a lamp, but not a microwave or hairdryer. You’ll probably blow a tiny fuse behind a little rubber cover on this unit if you exceed the power draw on the pass-through. The manufacturer was kind enough to include a spare fuse in the little enclosure. Also note this is not a transformer! It doesn’t convert 220 V to 110 V. It’s up to the User to make sure you are device is compatible before plugging it in. Most laptop and cell chargers adapt to a range of voltages but Bbuyer beware, you’d better read the small print on yours.

    Great for International Travel
All of my chargers are duo voltage, so I didn’t need a converter. This adapter has multiple outlets that I used concurrently – a USA standard plug, USB A plugs and a USB C plug. On my recent trip to Italy, I was able to charge my camera battery, phone and other peripherals over night using this one adaptor. It is very functional since it has multiple plug configurations for the different countries. If you don’t need a voltage converter, then this is ideal.

Solid adapter for world travel, but check your plug types.
This is, overall, a very nice adapter. It has four USB A ports and one USB C. Note that these are all low-power ports, so do not expect to use this as a replacement for a proper transformer brick, but it will work great for cases where you need to power a laptop or other appliance and still want to charge USB devices. I just completed a trip to South America with it and found it met my needs perfectly, covering what used to require multiple adapters. The range of plugs covers Type C (most of Europe), Type G (UK, Hong Kong), Type I (China, Australia, New Zealand, and Argentina), and Type A (US, Canada, and Japan). That leaves some markets, such as Switzerland (Type J) and India and Pakistan (Type D) out. So check your countries before buying this.Be aware that the plug options are ungrounded even though the face accepts grounded plugs, so you should not use this for equipment that requires grounding. This is not surprising, however, given the diversity of grounding systems in different plug types, so if you do need grounding, you will want to buy adapters for the specific plug types you need. The US/Australian/Argentinian plug set works by allowing the prongs to rotate to accommodate the different plug types. This works well, but I have concerns about long-term durability of that aspectThis is among the bulkier of plug adapters, but has to be large given what it does. If you need something more compact, you will really need to go to specific adapters.A few more positives. The case it comes with is nice and allows you to keep the two (tiny) spare fuses. At $22.95, it is cheaper than many other, less capable, options, although you can find some at similar prices with higher-power USB-C ports.

Great adaptor. Not a voltage converter: only for computers, phone charges, etc., that take 110-240V.
Works beautifully. Nice case for the instructions and spare fuses, too.

  7. Nancy C

    great adapter
Great adapter for traveling. Works really well. Ordered a different version too. Wanted one with more places for charging phones.

  8. Sanjay C Mahagaokar

I purchased this adapter at the hint of a travel program on YouTube. This was possibly the most expensive adapter. It s however, not designed for three pin Indian plugs. It’s simply not compatible. The finish, packing, travel cover, current capacity or ampcity as we engineers call it, are (as indeed it ought to be for the price) far better than other brands.Indian users are better off with other make adapters. I have three others including one from Croma. All these work well and are far cheaper.

  9. RG Alonso

Muito útil para as pessoas que viajamos a diferentes países. É um pouco grande talvez mas é pratico para sua função.

  10. A.Kumar

I brought it from Amazon India for my travel to Europe and it is stupid that you can’t use Indian 3 pin plugs on this. Why would you cheat your customers. Now that I’m here in Germany I can’t even return it anymore. It costs 3000 Rupees and it is money in the drain as the return window closes now. Would be grateful if atleast I can get my money back and I can return this once I’m back from Germany. It is completely unused.

Cankit be used for Indian made pins
