How to use the forward and reverse controller for remote control and smartphone pairing?
1. Ensure the phone’s location services and Bluetooth are enabled before adding the device.
2. Connect your mobile phone to a 2.4G WiFi network.
3. Power on the device and wait for its network distribution indicator light to flash (twice per second). If it doesn’t, press and hold the reset button for 5-7 seconds.
4. Open the Tuya Smart APP, click “+” to add a device, which will be automatically detected by the system. (5G WiFi is not supported.)
Note: The first-time device addition takes about 15-20 seconds.
1. Tuya 12V forward/reverse intelligent switch, DC 7-32V. The controller outputs control signals only; an external power supply is needed for driving the linear actuator.
2. Pair with Tuya Smart Life APP.
3. Set interlock in the Tuya APP to control forward and reverse rotation separately.
4. To set running time for both rotations, configure jogging time between 1 and 3600 seconds with a minimum interval of 1 second.

Smart Motor Control, Easy Setup, & Alexa Ready
I’ve been using this Smart Motor Controller for a few weeks, and it worked exactly as described. The setup through the app was quick, and I liked that it connects with both Wi-Fi and BT. I used it to control a small linear actuator, and the timer and direction controls were accurate and reliable. It synced easily with Alexa for voice control, which made automation really convenient. Also, the housing feels sturdy, and it stayed cool. Overall, it’s a solid and dependable smart controller for the price.

This works great for operating a fence gate linear actuator.
I used this to control a linear actuator. I was easy to set up in the Smart Life app and it does what I need it to do for opening and closing a fence gate. I like that it included the remote control that can be used in addition to using the Smart Life app on my Android phone. I placed it in a weather tight plastic electrical box along with a LIFEPO4 battery and a chemical dryer/dehydrator module to keep the humidity low in the box that has no environmental controls.

ot this little Tuya motor controller to play around with, and it does the job. I hooked it up to a 12V linear actuator and had it running in minutes. The app setup was quick, and it shows up in Alexa so I can just say “open” or “close” and it moves.It has two modes: one where it only runs while you press the button, and one where it keeps running until it finishes. That makes it flexible depending on what you’re automating. I tested both, and they work like expected.Build is decent, though it’s just a plastic box with screw terminals. Definitely not waterproof, so it needs a proper enclosure if you’re using it outdoors. On my 3A load it stayed cool, but it’s rated for 10A, so it should handle more.I’m already thinking of using a second one for blinds or vents. For under 60 bucks it’s a neat little smart-home add-on if you’re comfortable wiring DC stuff.
