Works Great and not expensive
Works great once you figure out how to wire it up. This is replacing my Bulldog keypad which is only good for 99 codes. This one is unlimited. This key pad will open up a Bulldog lock so you don’t have to chage that part. Red to + hot, Blk/Purple to Gnd, Blue to Push, the rest not needed. Also used an power supply controller with it. The keypad will except 4 digit codes but when using the added power supply keypad with WiFi connection you have to program 6 Digits into it. Not sure if the memory lives in keypad are controller. Does not loose codes on power failure. $100 and iam up running again. Solfware is ok , it keeps up with who uses the keypad if you inter the user information into it.Also works on other locks like magnetic and deadbolt. Also used an voltage regular in case my latch doesn’t like 12VDC. I set it to 6vdc. To change wife’s info , you have to add it again and it keeps all data.

Weak signal and only allows minimum 6 digit code in app
All good except showing weak wifi reception on app, I’ve tried moving router around even added extra repeater still shows week on app, not sure if it’s an app glitch or actually weak signal but keypad stays online, also if you add passcode on keypad it allows 4 numbers but on app minimum of 6 numbers which is very long for users. The fact that it has a glitch on the app is really annoying but still giving this a 4 star.

Tuya apps is easy to use and I can assign user code, use period. Good & simple user management.Remote access is great!Room to improve -1. provide key pad log on what codes were entered and time.2. send notification when the code is accepted/door open.

Works great for my application.
Worked fine for me. Wanted a keypad to open a gate that has magnetic door strike. Used the blue and purple wires to activate the relay on the panel of the already installed intercom system. Works like a charm. The app also works great. Able to change access codes from there. Very simple operation.

works well but resets to easily
This unit has a built in feature that the controller will factory reset if turned off/on a few times in a minute or so. Well same thing happens if there is a brown out or power flocculation. My unit has factory reset twice already unexpectedly. I strongly suggest putting on a small UPS to prevent factory reset on power stability issues.
